Jonathan, I am sitting on the plane on my way to Brazzaville to meet with Government. As it stands we have been told that once drilling operations commence the renewal will be executed. We have hammered the conductor to 80m and will continue on to 110m, we will then move the rig and rig up ready to spud as per schedule. J

also, Finncap on 29th june talks about the "successful workovers on 101 & 102", that must mean production increased ? surely ! anyone knows ? or were they just pumping ?

In their previous research note, FinnCap said "license awarded pending ratification" which they corrected on the last one it seems... what to believe... ???If no license the PSC is out in July ! 6 months after drilling is over. If no oil, who cares. If oil, I bet the national company will want the license back ! The cuckoo Norwegian might have some sense,... my 2C, even if this will irritate most people,... Honest, I want to believe you,... but with the history of that company, it's hard to see they will do anything right !

The position on the license is very clear.

It has not been awarded. Yet.

Its award has been recommended, but not completed

Congo is one of the better African countries to do business in apparently.

Risky ! If no renewal, share price will be 2p ! The Norwegian weirdo on Twitter seems to know something ! He was in Congo for 10y with ENI I read. Scary thoughts... I'm in at 10p ! Will sell at 11 and watch... better companies to follow ! He's right that FinnCap says the license is in the bag and Big Fat Sefton tells otherwise... something fishy... who's right ???

The problem was a thief zone.

They have constructed an over engineered drilling pad to prevent movement .

They will case the well through the zone .

Good share price strength today. Hopefully they can respud ahead of schedule.3 horizons on the way down, possibly 4. First 2 known to be oil bearing - one actually producing Both drilled within a few hundred metres of the same onshore field operations site as the forthcoming respud.Cash

Everything has been salvaged but the share price so far. They are no longer in closed period now, would have been nicer to see some director buys before re-spud, far more convincing that media interviews.
