05/9/2018 18:02 | From Twitter. | pro_s2009
05/9/2018 17:41 | Correct all along here | ronwilkes123
05/9/2018 17:40 | Where was it said this was a technicalAnd not a geological problem ? They haven't said what the problem is ? Even the article released this afternoon says tp103 could be plugged and abandoned | ronwilkes123
05/9/2018 16:06 | saw89, Agreed, they will have a specialist out there who will give them a range of solutions and they are likely to go with the one which allows them to get back to drilling asap - they state a matter of weeks. Once sorted, we will be back where we were before today but closer to R1/R2. Near its all time lows, I see this as an opportunity to average down. As I stated this morning, if the RNS was read carefully by half those moving on now, its a technical issue not a geological one. The targets and oil potential are not affected. Cash | cashandcard
05/9/2018 15:59 | Get real this is now pretty much at all time lows, the issue is above ground! The rig! Easy fix, this will be back to 12p when it has been clarified. Bought more today | saw89
05/9/2018 12:58 | Every day now without news will be a red day!!!You should consider that | costax1654x
05/9/2018 12:58 | On a positive note, NO mention of well problems. Nothing has changed below surface, whatever was there is still there. We face delays due to rig problems. All to play for. | apfindley
05/9/2018 12:57 | Question one has to ask how far have they drilled in 20 days, the proactive interview Sefton said drilling was going fine. | neo26
05/9/2018 12:49 | Especially now its gone quiet... On the trade front that is.... | babbler
05/9/2018 12:47 | Drop way over done. Easy 25% gain in a few days. Issue with the rig will get sorted as it’s down to the contractors to fix and time is money to them | saw89
05/9/2018 11:23 | Couldn't not take advantage of the drop. An update on the problem, with estimate on time to restarting drill and a clarification on any additional costs, might only be days away. Could give a very healthy bounce. | honestmarty
05/9/2018 11:22 | Jonathan, I am on route to Congo as we speak and will send out more info when I have had a chance to examine the problem. James | jonnyfro
05/9/2018 11:19 | Should think we'll start to creep back up from here. Storm in a teacup comes to mind. Feel for those stopped out this morning. | ianio5691
05/9/2018 11:17 | I suspect this topside issue has been causing delays since we started (this must be the case if, as suggested above, we haven’t even reached the R1/R2 yet) and AAOG has finally decided enough is enough, made the well safe, and taken the rig off the payroll until it’s fixed. As also suggested above, it doesn’t reduce the chances of finding hydrocarbons. It just changes AAOG from a jam tomorrow bet, to a jam the day after tomorrow one. If you believed before, there is no reason to stop believing. Hence a buying opportunity. | thamestrader
05/9/2018 11:15 | Sorry jonnyfro haven't seen your email. Did you post it under a different handle? Does seem to support views this may take a while as must be fairly serious if they're all flying out there? | bad gateway
05/9/2018 11:10 | Jb is on his way to Congo as per my email from his this morning | jonnyfro
05/9/2018 11:05 | They're flying a specialist in according to an email reply on the LSE.. In a message to a shareholder ‘We don’t know how serious yet. It should be fixable and various solutions being discussed, but honestly we need more definitive info which the specialist en route can provide. For clarity, we had not yet reached R1 / R2.’ David Does sound like it could take a while and "it should be fixable" might be problematic but for the patient maybe ok? | bad gateway
05/9/2018 10:58 | We should find out from JB once he's on site and assessed the situation.... | newvest1
05/9/2018 10:57 | maybe they have found so much oil tbey wanted to dampen the share price to allow others in cheaply.conspiracy Q | money4me
05/9/2018 10:52 | Agree. And if that's the case, they would've needed to monitor the mud weight more than normal. It could be the delay has escalated from a few days for a rig part, to longer due to schedules and manning rotas etc. I do think the company need to clarify with more precise info about the delay. | apfindley |
