The turnaround here has been impressive. No one likes delays, but how a company responds to them is key. AAOG and it's contractors deserves credit for recognising and bringing a resolution plan into action rapidly, and for keeping investors updated throughout the process. Confirmation in the RNS of no additional shareholder funds required is also material. Short term noise often creates good opportunities.

"The Company expects to commence drilling operations on the TLP-103C well in the week commencing 8 October 2018.

The events have underlined the importance of our careful cash management and capital planning, including the earlier negotiation of debt facilities on normal commercial terms. The result is that the Company does not require support from shareholders to absorb the additional costs of the re-spud"

Should pickup nextweek.

No idea wanobi.

I plan to sell 75% at XXp levels now and then hold the remainder for longer.

As they say, a profit is never a profit until you take it.

Another email from JB - I asked when the speed shoe would arrive as that according to DS interview was the rate limiting step..

"The speed shoe will arrive in Pointe Noire on Sunday. I will be in country for the spud. James"

Speed shoe was the rate limiting step and as per my email from JB yesterday the pad is done ahead of schedule and they need to hammer in the conductor.

I really think JB could be on a plane this weekend/early next week for respud!!

How the hell did we finish down?????

I dunno, you lot? I left you alone to look after the shop for one afternoon. I asked you to do ONE thing, and look! You've trashed the place. Useless! Honestly. I dunno, you just can't get the staff nowadays.

https://total-market-solutions.com/2018/09/20/is-aaog-worthy-of-a-watchful-eye/#AAOG has had a difficult month following a severe drilling delay with shares falling to lows of 7.4p before returning to their current 9.5p level......With @angloafricanog now re-spudding the well, is there a chance things could get back on track?

Email from JB this morning

Jonathan, we are ahead of schedule with the pad which was finished today and the boys are doing a fantastic job on site. We will now hammer the conductor and then move the rig which has been inspected and all ok. Everything is going according to our timeline.

I will not be in Birmingham due to us being in the middle of operations but David Sefton will be there representing AAOG.

Regards,

James

costs us around $8-9 a barrel to produce, we have production already, new drills will improve and increase production to min 1000 bpd - short term to 5000 bpd expected by BOD.
Oil now at $80plus per barrel, do the maths even at 1000 bpd x $80 = $80000 per day x 365 day = $29M less expensive, at 5000 bpd x $150M revenue per year.
No wonder CEO stated drill results could be a life changing for AAOG.
They have buyer for OIL already and all this at a MC of ?
Do the Maths
got to go back up to 18-20p during drill
