Fundamentals haven't changed (if you believe them), but delays cause a lot of gitters on AIM, so the price will drop and Id imagine stay well down until oil discovered ! Buying op if you believe or run a mile if you don't !

Shifting Sands, so they needed a stabalising platform for the rig to sit on or around.
Bring in the industrial foam injection experts, if it happens again. It is a cheap solution. to stop the sand movement causing problems. They use it on the boggy roads all of the time. It can also float the rig like it is on a calm sea.

Now have you noticed that the drill will take 60 + days.

Only 15 days and it hits R1/R2. Mengo after 30 days. Sp to double
What is the new spud date?
Are they are keeping days in reserve, as actions have already started?

That also means they are going after Vanji at 3000m on day 64.
If that is hit the share price returns are likely to be over 1000% to 3000%.

Did someone delay any announcement to run a big short? Well it had the effect.

Sit tight, IMO get ready for a bit of volatility.


The BoD actions are, IMO, telling the day traders to stay away, we do not want you here.....

MM's will go defensive at open............mark the price way down in case any panic sellers are around.

And then, depending on buying pressure against any panic sells, they will rise the price back upwards again.

Is there anyone left to sell ? I mean, if you were going to sell you should have sold in the past 2 days, not today.

One RNS should have done. Why didn't they just say it was a pad issue and this is what is being proposed. We're insured and have debt facilities...this is like double bad news. Bit of flapping going on.

A big positive is that the RIG is ok. 3 week delay.

Rig moved to a more stable drilling location.

Appears the ground where the drilling pad was located turned out to be unstable once drilling.

The well will be drilled, the targets are still there, insurance will cover costs of delays........nothing changes apart from an extra 4 weeks delay.

Thank you for pointing that out! All I did was post what I was told (via my broker) from BOD. I think people on these boards are so used to lying themselves they've forgotten how to believe anyone might just be for real!!

Situation explained sufficiently. Drop overdone knowing what we now know. Still needed a knock as a wake up. But delays don't affect what's below. Expect a blue day today as people accept the delay and scramble to get in at this knockdown price as if we're at the pre spud stage still.

My info. is that this is not an issue requiring a new rig. I don’t however know what the specific issue is, but I take comfort it’s not as drastic as needing a new rig...

...hardly !...its going to take 25 days to move it and respud !...this is a complete ball ache and a huge inconvenience that the company could have well done without...and it looks like they will have to borrow money in the short term to finance the delay...I can see some people seeing easier money elsewhere and returning for the respud
