Fair summary.
I’ve explained at length my logic for revenue. It might be wrong but it’s well reasoned.

My view:Speculative buy with huge potential, Director buys previously, successful raise recently and big pharma deals announced.Revenue: no idea, neither have you.But I'm willing to bet on big deals being made and targets hit

I was replying to a comment about revenue and gave a previously unexpressed prediction that we’ll miss by 50%.
It’s a message board to give views on the stock - happy to hear your views too though?

Adw, why do you feel the need to keep expressing your opinion more than once, as you state below? What purpose to keep repeating your position?

As I say, I take the point I’ve expressed my position more than once. I suspect the reason you don’t like it is because it’s not just telling people things are great. Those posters are very popular.

I agree funding isn’t a short term issue btw - the trading update will be.

Ha fair enough mate - but where’s the same energy for the idiotic posts constantly telling us this is going up without any analysis. Or are they ok because you’re invested?
Sad state of affairs when revenue discussions are considered boring, but I heard the same when I raised the funding requirement. Truth hurts sometimes.

Horrocks,Regarding Ocado, investors have been seduced by the automated side of things forgetting that deliveries to customers are a human driver and a van, and those cost alot, more volume more cost. So yes it will never make a profit, also because they have heavy capital base depreciation will always be high thus capping profit and with it any shareholder distribution.I am not saying their share price will not rise but they will not declare a profit ever in my opinion. I used to work in their industry and understand it bettet than medical devices tbh.Angle will declare a profit before Ocado.Revenue is for vanity, profit is for sanity don't forget.

Surely at some point they’ll need to receive actual revenue though? I’ll be impressed / surprised if they manage £4m, let alone £6.4m.

Maybe but on the other hand if they sign up Illumina which is quite possible given current engagement then sentiment going into the next raise (if one is needed) will be quite different

@divmad

You won’t get much interest or feedback asking about actual revenue. The party line appears to be just believe the company’s confidence in their projections. Which they won’t explain in terms of where the money is coming from. There’s a credibility crisis brewing, potentially a funding one too, because of the next raise is done on the back of another missed revenue target they’ll be real problems.

Well one thing is for sure, any annualised loss here will be substantially less than Ocado will lose and their mkt cap is £2.9bAnd Ocado will never make a profit whereas Angle will in the not too distant future. That's the market for you.

Bermuda it has been noted but when H1 only delivered 1m with all those in play it seems a very big stretch to get to 6.6m in just a few months. Mia says that AN remains confident on achieving it so I guess we will if and how.
As for the question of revenue v deals. I think the answer is pretty much y obvious from the last profit warning when even after the AZ deals the share price languished around half were is was before the warning. Im OK to be proved wotmg both on revenue miss and it's effect on the share price
Trading update looks to be September so we will have to see if we get more news to help explain the revenue target confidence

One point that may factor into this is that any deal done soon the value won't all be recognised in this period, as we know the value is spread over the course of the contract. That makes it even more unlikely they are going to hit the revenue numbers. AN either knows something we don't as you say or will get found out again. Gl

The posts discussing whether or not Angle will meet revenue predictions seem to be focused solely on pharma services contracts with very few (if any) comments on revenue from product sales. Odd given that product sales accounted for the bulk of Angle's revenue last year.

We know that Angle are building a distribution network covering Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific and that first sales landed in Q4 of the last financial year. In addition they have launched and are now offering the Portrait staining kit and CellKeep slide to customers. None of us here can have a clue how sales from any of these sources are going so surely it's hard to make any judgement calls on whether or not Angle will hit that £6m figure.

Much more important for longs here perhaps is progress on the adoption of CTC liquid biopsies and therefore good to see that CRUK's Rare Cells Team are using Parsortix in their work:-

'We investigate these rare populations in the blood of cancer patients by utilising a wide range of innovative technologies, including CellSearch, Parsortix and High Definition Single Cell Assay (HD-SCA) platforms.'

' The team runs numerous clinical studies and collaborates widely, with a strong ambition towards the development of multi-analyte, multi-omic biomarkers. '

...........all contributing to revenue from product sales.
