If there is a huge amount of shorting going on then they are gambling that no news is forthcoming. I hope it is horters as any good news will mean a rush to the door to close those shorts and a massive rebound in the share price
Those large trades looks like someone bailing though. |
Vitec, were you not SNG guild telling people SNG at 200p was going to 5000p?
You were posting hundreds per day and always got 20+-30+ thumb-ups. I see Waterloo is here too, from SNG at 200p+
Do you guys work in pairs? |
If you think a placing is coming at 5p then you are either shorting and/or telling others to short. If that placing came then Newland is dead. Shareholders might stump up but they would want the management out. What would be the point of raising cash at that price anyway. The dilution would be massive and I do not know if they would even be able to do it subject to the allotment of shares authority that they hold. |
They told me (and posted here) they would give a full update with the results (end April). Vitec, we've seen this happen before when a major holder decides to exit, it drags the price down, which could bounce like a like an proverbial kangaroo on some genuinely good news. |
Yeah plenty would die for that average tbh . It's hard to say if it's a good investment or not atm . I think it is at this level fro sure and bought in myself recently but the CEO has to deliver and we are waiting to see if he can |
It is obvious with these large trades going through someone is offloading. Incoming TR1's would be good to know what is actually going on. |
One of the lucky ones then with that average |
What in gods name is going on with this share?!? This should not be down here given the incredible tech they've got. What's dragging this down and why? My average is 29p and I'm thinking of averaging down further but is it a waste? |
Maybe the last 2 x 100k's :) . . . |
If things are to get that bad then something needs to start getting out together now as it takes time to organize . Been in one or two shares that have done that . Built a register so they can account for a percentage of holdings etc and have more of an input etc . Needs someone to take it onboard though . Said similar on telegram but seemed they all thought things would be fine there so left them to it. |
... from the current shareholders assuming they do nothing... |
And that is why if they do not deliver someone else will seize the opportunity. |
Or someone underestimated the market they were trying to enter and thought deals would just happen with FDA approval !
That was never going to be the case but obviously someone did and that's been their undoing regarding the shareprice . |
The problem may be that when you have been living and breathing a company for 30 years. And you have just committed a massive amount of time on the FDA and all sorts of attempts to get Ovarian commercialised you may not be able to see the wood for the trees or accept the extent of the problem. It is clearly major as we are heading in the direction of an all time low SP |
The selling started July last year and has continued since with some major hiccups along the way . Jan saw one ii get out in a hurry completely but replaced with gfi . Don't think this pattern is going to stop until there is news and we all know that could be some time away with AGL . Hopefully it's not though but all we can do is wait and see on that score .
Problem is with major surgery is again things get put back even further and delayed and I think many have had enough . The words after FDA will be ringing in the ears of those that didn't sell and now here we are 18p .
He has until end of the year to get deals done and I don't mean just one otherwise dillution really will come back into play and if the shareprice is anywhere near these levels then it will be a horror show . I can wait until then to see what happens . |
Maybe this is the last one . . . |
Yes I'm aware of the hiring and it feels like a "road runner" moment when they just go hurtling off a cliff running at full speed and then look down. One has to wonder what tangible evidence/ robust investment case there is for this additional expenditure on staff. |
Bagpuss67 24 Mar '23 - 14:02 - 18488 of 18491 0 0 0 I can only think the options are FSP and strategic review taking advice from an actual expert in this market. The output might be to recogise that they have run out of road with ovarian and MBC is so long away it may as well be parked. Massively cut back staff and focus on getting the lab business going from the longer runway the cost cutting and retrenchment would create.

Bagpuss,
I dont think cost saving is high on the agenda.....
See below link to current Angle job recruitment drive!!!
A hell of a lot positions to fill, in varying sectors.....
Especially if you have NO contracts?????? :-)
Mr K. |
The point being that things have not worked out and there is an argument ement for some major surgery to give current shareholders more chance of not been wiped out in some brutal future dilution. AN and IG could of course survive such an event and just reload with an even lower set of options. |
So much for the 250k being the last. Another 250k just went through as a sell. |
Coco how's your shorts! |
This is ripe for a larger company to step in. They will only need the IP and possibly the lab as it has been accredited. Everything else they can get rid off. AIM directors are like football managers. Their biggest pay off comes when they fail and then walk into another job. The only difference is football managers have disappointed fans whereas Aim directors usually destroy the wealth of the shareholders that they are meant to serve. |
