Happy enough with results. 10m cash and probably another 4m or so since year end. Could get a chunky payout soon. Steady as she goes.

Prelims look as expected, weather no help really but the 3 week cold spell in Feb 2012 allowing them to be optimistic as they already have some good figures in the bag. Nice little property earner and the assets above £10m as expected. Hopefully, a decent divi later on. Not sure what effect this will have on share price though. We'll see soon enough.

I remember a good few years ago the Telegraph reported a Swedish Company had tried an offer ...180p I seem to recall which in those days was a healthy premium.
Think the Swedes went home with their tails between their legs after being told the company is not for sale !

No, not really. However, the gaffer is 92 now and the sons don't seem really interested. He may prefer the cash for another few luxury hotels. But no, no real indication...but never to be discounted.

Interesting question ...have often wondered that myself....not sure that it would ever be for sale but who knows .
Just a great cash generating machine ...
imho etc.

Mkt cap £80 million or so , P.E of 8 ish ...I have absolutely no idea ...lol

I presume a lot of that increase would be the doubling of asy shares earlier last year. Its tough at the top! Have to say that asy is beginning to look as if its trying to go somewhere at long last. What sort of price do you think they'd be worth as a takeover target for someone like Aggreko?

I havn't actually phoned the company but I'm pretty sure the prelims will be out next Wednesday with the company board meeting taking place on Tuesday. The share price has held up very well during the closed period with no buybacks allowed during the last 2 months. Hopefully the rain will give the pumps a bit of a boost. Now for a hot summer!

Only problem with that is the gaffer has over 40m which means there are only about 4m left in the market and I've got most of those!
