05/11/2010 10:17 | picked up a few more here today. reckon the Q3 EDEMSA numbers on the 11th nov will give the rerating of the share price a boost. | empirestate
05/11/2010 10:09 | Agreed. Very strong now. It takes nothing to move the price. Maybe there was a seller before and they've cleared out now. | stuart14
05/11/2010 10:07 | I honestly dont see how this is going to fall back now Stuart, well not to 20p anyway, looks strong again today with 30p the obvious next short term target. | stluke

05/11/2010 09:54 | Where do you get the NAV figure from mate? | stuart14
05/11/2010 09:52 | The debt purchase has made a massive difference to the business, I'm not sure I fully understand it but it would appear that the finance cost will be effectively reduced by 75% as most of the bond interest is effectivly in house. All a little confusing but it makes a massive diffence to the bottom line and NAV by the looks of it | chickenchowmein
05/11/2010 09:47 | A ffew flags added, people looking, but that's all at the moment. With q3 being the coldest the demand should have been high and hopefully the cap ex lower so expect some pretty impressive numbers next week | chickenchowmein
05/11/2010 09:17 | Im sure they had there reasons Stuart, the important thing is that it keeps churning out big profits and thats just what we should see next week hopefully! Thanks for the research CCC im sure the new visitors have found it very useful. | stluke

04/11/2010 21:15 | Information about the HASA Hydro Power Generation (owned by Andes) EBTIDA = $1.6 Million for Six Moths HASA has a 50 years cocession (via a privatisation contract), which commenced in 1994, to operate the Ameghino hydro power plant, situated 120 Km southwest of Trelew city. The privatisation contract involved transferring the electric generation business associated with the dam and affiliated responsibilities for flood control and river flow regulation to HASA. The plant, which was commissioned in 1968, has installed capacity of 60MW and produced approximately 334 GWh of electricity in 2006 and currently employs 26 staff. The Ameghino hydro plant currently has low annual capital expenditure and maintenance requirements. As a result, electricity is generated by the Ameghino plant at a cost of around ARS25 per MWh. For more information from HASA visit the web page www.hidroameghino.co It consists of a dam made of concrete and an engine house. Our Dam, of Noetzli-Alcorta type, is 255 m long. It is formed by 25 modules, 10 m wide each and 70 m high from natural ground level and the concrete foundation of some modules are 40 m deep under ground level. There are two vertical axis Francis turbines installed in the engines house which consist of two 29,20 MVA capacity generating units. The required flow for a maximum generation is of 110 m3/sec., limited presently, until the Province takes up the necessary dredging and systematizing works, to a daily average value of 70 m3/sec. The reservoir is 80 km long, covers a surface of 7.400 has and its storing capacity is of 1855 hm3. It receives water by the confluence of the Chico River and the Chubut River. Energy is generated in 13,2 kV tension and it is increased up to 132 kV to enable transportation through transmission lines, through transformers situated in front of the engines house | chickenchowmein
04/11/2010 20:54 | From the half yearly, Not a bad SIX MONTHS for a £30 million pound company with a NAV of 90p!!!!!! Gross profit increased by 65% to US$29.3 million from US$17.8 million resulting in an 320% increase in operating profit to US$13.5 million from US$3.2 million for the equivalent period last year. I dont think the market had time to take this in before the next two RNS's Stonkingly good numbers for a tiddler | chickenchowmein
04/11/2010 17:27 | Can't disagree with any of that mate! | stuart14
04/11/2010 16:37 | Stuart, you may well be right, also uncertainty has been removed from the business which is alway good. I see this more as a re rateing based on fundamentals, there could be more deals, and there is edmesa update next week which should confirm that aen hold a stave growing business. The more they show that, the closer they will get to nav and then attribute valuation towards thier business. | chickenchowmein
04/11/2010 16:08 | Willing to take loads, but you can buy any without setting this off, I must admit that I thought it may drop purely on aim metality but there is no justification for this to be at 70% discount to nav, could be a good finish to the week | chickenchowmein
04/11/2010 15:54 | Each buy strengthening level 2. | stluke
