04/9/2020 18:31 | Well charlie_munger1, Market Makers MM's) don't say whether a trade is a buy, or sell. So you wont be able to definitely find out. Those 2 x 200k very large trades were reported after the market closed today and their reporting was delayed by a number of hours for both trades. The only reason the financial web sites, like advfn, have them down as buys was because when the trades were reported the trade price of both was above the arbitrary mid price (the MM's only quote a spread, not a mid price). However when the trades were done the arbitrary mid price was higher so advfn would have shown them as sells! However when the trades were done one could buy below the arbitrary mid price. However after those 2 trades were completed the bid price dropped. That indicates they were probably sells! Of course they were for large amounts so those trades could have been "worked" in smaller tranches prior to their completion time. It's all guesswork, charlie, as to whether they were buys, or sells, because the MM's don't give out that information. However the big drop in the AMYT share price today SHOWS THEY WERE ALMOST CERTAINLY SELLS | ![]() papillon
04/9/2020 17:24 | If my following chart (which shows a potentially bullish chart pattern) is to be believed then now would be a good time to buy AMYT shares. We shall see. Fingers crossed as always! free stock charts from uk.advfn.com The 14 day RSI is currently in oversold territory | ![]() papillon
04/9/2020 17:13 | I was a bit early with my buy today. Ah, such is life! The current price of the ADS's on Nasdaq makes a mockery of the analyst price target of US$42.50. I remember being told years ago to halve an analysts forecast and then halve it again! That gives circa US$10.6 which isn't that different to the current ADS price on Nasdaq! PS. That advice was in relation to analyst's target sp's for AIM listed O&G's, but I suppose it could equally apply to AIM listed biopharmas. 😒 | ![]() papillon

04/9/2020 09:05 | Today's fall is not a surprise if you look at my chart and comments posted last week. See my post 5675 posted on the 27th August. The share price is now in line with that on Nasdaq | ![]() papillon
03/9/2020 21:11 | A couple of interesting links posted by bermudashorts over on the lse AMYT bb today concerning the failed Amicus trial and the current AMYT one. AMYT were given complete access to the Amicus trial results which enabled them to modify their phase 3 trial to hopefully overcome the reason for Amicus's phase 3 failure. | ![]() papillon

27/8/2020 17:19 | I suspect SupeARich is mdalos, bazworth. Deleting his previous posts was mdalos's favourite trick. mdalos stops posting on advfn and soon after SupeARich starts. Coincidence? mdalos's used to enjoy posting false information. Likewise SupeARich. Coincidence? ATB papillon | ultrasharp
27/8/2020 17:10 | You don't know what you are talking about, SupeARich. On the 7th of July AMYT had circa 159m shares issued. On the 8th July AMYT listed on Nasdaq. THERE WAS NO NEW MONEY RAISED AND NO NEW SHARES WERE ISSUED. Read the AMYT RNS's!! 5 existing AMYT shares were bundled together to make an ADS for trading on Nasdaq. NO NEW SHARES were issued. The AMYT shares in issue on the 7th July was exactly the same as the number of shares in issue on the 9th July. That number is 159m. If you don't believe me, SupeARich, read the RNS's issued since AMYT was suspended back in May 2019. Unfortunately, SupeARich, you know nothing about AMYT. The only way you can dispel your ignorance is to read the RNS's. PS. The RNS issued on the 8th July mentions that Americans already held 70% of AMYT shares. That RNS also states that the Chairman, CEO & CFO will all be converting their AMYT shares into ADS's within a month after listing on Nasdaq. PPS Unfortunately the AMYT Web site is rather confusing when it comes to detailing shares in issue. It lists 159m on AIM and lists the same number, but divided by 5 and shown as ADS's, as listed on Nasdaq. It's easy to think those shares are separate. However they are NOT. They are the same 159m shares. | ultrasharp
