has anyone received their payment today? I'm with Selftrade until I get my ADM dividend tomorrow and then I'm moving to I Web. I've been with ST for 14 years but as they propose moving all accounts to Equiniti so I think I'll jump before I'm pushed. Anyone any other ideas?

micos - the record date is usually a friday with the ex-div date being 2 business days prior (usually a weds). so in order to qualify for the dividend you will therefore need to be a holder at close of business on the tues.

as you point out the record date is stated as 22 april, which is a tues. i assume this can be explained by the fact that fri 18 + mon 21 april are both public holidays so in this case the record date is a tuesday. the record date of 22 april is confirmed on the AML webiste -

for avoidance of doubt...
ex-div = weds 16 april
record date = mon 22 april
payment date = thurs 29 may

so to qualify for the final dividend of 18.20p/share, you will need to be a holder on close of business on tues 15 april.

Does anyone have an XD date? The prelim results on 3 March state the dividend is payable to those on the register on 22 April which is a Tuesday but I see no mention of the XD date.

Agreed, nicos. Bought some in June and am sitting on a nice capital gain with a 5%-plus yield to go with it. Happy to hold.
