Blackgold I hope this works out for you, I doIt won't work out though, if they don't pull there fingers out soon they will run out of cash to pay wages and costs. There are huge problems here, our man in charge continues to bury his head in the sand. An acquaintance advised he'd voted no to all points on his agm form, I suggest all do they sameIt could be worse though the bod could be on here calling other users morons

Thanks, BG and others for the links. Some serious rubbish in there, written by someone with little understanding and an axe to grind by the sound of it!Interesting to see BH described so positively though! I've not seen that for many years, though I always thought most of the negativity towards him was unjustified.Peter

Peter,

I think this is it, I didn't look at it, as I'd rather starve them of the click count.

There are excerpts from it over on LSE, starting around 10:00 today.

I have spoken to both Aminex and to Camerco on the phone this morning ref the article. They had just been made aware of the article and Camerco are reviewing their response with Aminex and what appropriate action should be taken.

Who knows, could be another lawsuit for the fine publication and it's contacts ;)

SP I don't despise anyone on LSE BB mate (nothing anywhere near as strong and apologise if it comes across that way). As I say I think we probably had the tools to make the BOD feel very uncomfortable on the day of AGM but, if you'd also care to check back I have always consistently said us smallies have no say or influence whatsoever and now, just the pleasure of roasting the BOD at the AGM accompanied with the acrimony across the BB's between posters, isn't enough to get me motivated to go.
It would also take a day or two's proper preparation, if you really wanted to do a good job but again, I think we would have got closed down to due to 'time availability' etc.!!
All imho and as ever dyor all!

SP, no you know I hold about 3 MM?!
As I have said (ad infinitum lol) I have bought these for the assets not the mgt.
TBH (with hindsight) imho, the assets aren't that great now (in comparison to what is available elsewhere in mkt at the moment) and I'm happy to take a loss.
That is part of 'investing' isn't it - we cant get them all right all of the time?

One thing though go back and check my posts - I was always 'bemused' about the Canyon acquisition but simply thought there was stuff and value that I wasn't aware of.
Unfortunately that does not appear to be the case though lol!!
I've been pretty consistent with my criticism of the mgt for quite a long time, after giving the latest re-incarnation a fair chance, so talk of hindsight isn't that fair really with regard to how I have posted, I think?!
By the way, as often gets thrown back at me - when I criticise AEX mgt I'm not criticising the ones brought in by Zubs. I think Zubs are smart cookies lol!!
Once again all imho and dyor of course and, I don't need a hand with the coat thanks.

Though I do accept your comments regarding the treatment of your LSE posts by some of the posters there; but is that any reason to stoop to their levels? Why not actually demonstrate the validity of your position by taking the BoD to task.....? Surely not doing so simply plays into the hands of the BoD and those posters you despise?

But no matter, I have to drive to the airport shortly.

And you too so it seems - or are you now saying that you don't hold any AEX shares?

Someone with your wealth and depth of knowledge would surely have seen through the BoD's deceptions and stayed well away.....

It's so easy to be wise in hindsight eh?

Let me give you a hand with that coat - Lol :0)

SP mate I was very happy to have gone to AGM but Drewky's ridiculous allegations about agendas etc and condescending attitude to my points sheet put paid to that.
Don't you read your little groups replies to my points and queries posted on LSE (very respectfully and politely previously I may say) - some may say the responses to these were / are equally condescending?

I'm sure you guys will do well at the AGM anyway, so why bother asking my opinion, you've all got this so right so far?

Ahem I'll get me coat.

Dunderhead rather than make snide, condescending comments from the sidelines why not demonstrate your superior knowledge and intellect and show us pathetic, deluded LSE posters what and how we should be confronting the BoD.....

Oh and don't bother with a response I can predict it; "you are such a well known figure in the industry".... yawn.

Yes and the Emperor had some lovely clothes.

Well you've got to question as I have since day one why they used that first rig considering the Tullow oil well gas issues.
But at the end of the day wtfdik?! LOL!

yes ron, the (DUDS AND DITHERING AT AMINEX PLC) article

" The third planned step-out well was expected to be drilled last autumn but this did not happen. It seems Bhattacherjee has got cold feet and will not drill this essential well until he has completed a farm-out deal to reduce the risk."

well reading that, tells me, who ever wrote it, has little understanding of the NT-2 well results and its consequences in changing and upgrading the basin model as it has, obviously the Cariol-6 rig would not had been up for the job to have drilled the NT-3/C-1. after the NT-2 well everything changed.

Don't be silly Ronny.
There is a big delegation from mental central going to AGM.
Even though drewky et al, completely supports the bod currently, I am very confident that they have the experience and wherewithal to really hold the BOD to account.
Ahem, I'll get me coat, lol!
