18/6/2018 10:42 | What if it all goes wrong Edgar. Maybe you'll end up overcommitted. | bunbooster2
18/6/2018 09:18 | maybe a good RNS could prove to be the antidote, that will neutralize this condition for good : ) | blackgold00
17/6/2018 22:54 | AS4 for sure. The latest mutation of the dreaded Aminex Syndrome. A terminal condition - there is no cure. | skinwalker
17/6/2018 11:48 | My plan has been to switch winnings between my 3 main holdings (AEX, CERP and IOG). (Should say that AEX remains by far and away my biggest holding). All have been on a slow burn but I don't mind as I love each of the stories. IOG coming good now (they have just doubled). I am surprised to say that any new money or any winnings realised are probably going into Aminex now. Surprised because I already own far too many, proportionally and actually. But this dip down with news due is too good to resist. GLA | edgar222
16/6/2018 21:45 | Sounds complicated and fairly questionable news management if it's true. | greyingsurfer
16/6/2018 21:07 | Peter, I've had someone tell me on another board that a company timed the release of the annual accounts to as to fix the date of the AGM so that they could use it to announce funding news ... | haideralifool
15/6/2018 13:45 | I know you know that BG, but there does seem to be a strand of opinion, not just here on AEX, that companies somehow are likely to somehow manipulate things to release significant news at AGMs. In general it's just not true, so you can end up with some selling out on disappointment. No real impact on the long term, but irritating in the short term - though perhaps buying after bland AGM statements could be a good strategy :-) Peter | greyingsurfer
15/6/2018 13:16 | yep i know you'er right Peter, but you know me, i do like to dream a bit | blackgold00
15/6/2018 11:19 | News would be nice - at any time - but since they certainly won't be holding back news if there is any I wouldn't assume that the AGM will see more than a general update on what's happening. When there's news we'll hear. Until then .... Peter | greyingsurfer
15/6/2018 10:34 | "I hope there will be some real news in time for the agm because if not" then we better have some news next week then Dunder. here's hoping anyway. : ) | blackgold00
15/6/2018 09:33 | BG that cannot be the case as this is a UK listed company and such actions would not be allowed unless good commercial reasons for doing so, so rest assured that is NOT happening or has NEVER happened IMHO. However MY point of view is that I think Zubs 'saw them coming' and realised they could profit from the naivety and inexperience of the 'mgt' team 'over estimating' their asset value to the market. That is only my opinion of course and I sincerely hope I am wrong. Having worked in BD before I've lost count of the number of times promote type scenarios have been walked away from, simply because the reviewing company couldn't be bothered to deal with the mgt team in situ - who were - as an example excellent entrepreneurs - but certainly not of the skill set required to truly efficiently manage any exploration drill / appraisal / development / operations programme. However they did not realise this - always wanting to be in charge of their own destiny which meant unfortunately deals did not cyrstallise for them. Either way I have a feeling we will find out in the next six weeks. I hope there will be some real news in time for the agm because if not, that really would not be good enough and the current share price reflects this uncertainty. All imho and dyor of course. I am orf for the day now so don't take non reply as rudeness and thanks for clarifying re BOD questions. | dunderheed
15/6/2018 09:19 | no Dunder, i dont think i was that interested to get them, or get involved with the questions. same old stuff i think | blackgold00
15/6/2018 09:15 | "But, we do have to ask the question why there isn't any market for these assets" well i'm of the opinion, they are doing the deal as a closed shop, no one else aloud in, and they want to share what they have between them-selfs, that is Aminex the Zubs and TPDC. and i suppose in a way, all the time Aminex dose not process a legitimate PSA licence for Ruvuma, they are immune to any approach/take-over from another outside company. by design? | blackgold00
15/6/2018 08:59 | BG do you have a list of the BOD questions please? | dunderheed
15/6/2018 08:55 | how do you do that tournsol | blackgold00
15/6/2018 08:54 | Ronny - I've been saying that since news came out mate. There is ALWAYS a difference between PI and industry asset valuations anyway! However to be clear, Zubs offer will be bench-marked against the market. If there is no market for the assets then any offer is good. But, we do have to ask the question why there isn't any market for these assets - IF INDEED that is the case - and my point being - it better not be because AEX insisted on keeping operatorship to 'protect' their destiny for themselves. Because now, it 'appears' they have no control whatsoever of their destiny. All imho of course and dyor of course. Tournesol - how do you add colour to the posts?! | dunderheed
15/6/2018 08:45 | Didn't know you could use colour, what fun. | tournesol
15/6/2018 08:44 | Dunder be careful hereThe zubairs are not going to pay more than 70% of aminex market capThe farm out will be low imo | ronwilkes123
15/6/2018 08:43 | Oh lol Ronald. I've got to admit the mental central crew are p'd off with me at the moment. It's funny none of them were ever expecting any news prior to the AGM - I must have been the only one expecting something or me old memory's failing me?! Whatever happened to those 'in the know' Statoil rumours - lol!? It'll be really interesting to see what happens over the next 6 weeks. | dunderheed
15/6/2018 08:36 | Oh no what can the matter beIt's disaster run by Jay Bhattacherjee Quite catchy | ronwilkes123
14/6/2018 15:54 | resurrect123 10 Jun '18 - 07:53 - 68051 "I’m sorry but can I advise the board to filter you too. You made boastful comments about knowing the direction of the share price which in light of the further collapse have made you look stupid." Unsupported assertion. You have a choice, cite your evidence to prove your case or fail to and prove yourself a liar. Up to you. You either have integrity or you don't. | glavey
14/6/2018 13:53 | COPL just posted Nigerian government set to approve several OML field licenses triggered by much improved oil price | nicky21
14/6/2018 09:53 | yes cperkin, you just as well take advantage of all of ron's hard work, and yes, "The Company expects to receive an extension to the Mtwara Licence," which could come at any time, though i'm expecting it to be announced before or just before they reveal the farm-out. | blackgold00
14/6/2018 09:43 | BG, lovely guy...keeps talking to him! Not top up time again...marvelous. it just keeps giving. | gerryjames
14/6/2018 09:28 | Indeed, I topped up myself this morning. | vike1 |
