It never has. 4p he bought at. 1 million he would boast...It helps the uncertain wait if you don't care about the share price This is a key element in Tanzanian investment. Not caring about your money.

I know gerry I read somewhere recently either here or on lse about some punter buying the majority of their shares at 0.4p.
I cant remember the share price ever reaching those depths but they may have done on a rare intra day trade however they wouldn't be able to have bought any volume at that price?
It's all relative I suppose.

D, I certainly haven't seen the documents, so don't know the full details. You may well be correct that there is a proscribed timetable in the agreements that they should be operating by. However, given that the negotiations are with organisations that are not known for making quick decisions, and that there a number of issues that are likely to be involved - gas demand predictions, the other licences etc - I'm not surprised that we haven't yet seen anything. Nor do I interpret the delay as telling us anything about the outcome.Peter

Dunder,I bought shed loads of AEX years ago at a very low price, I don't give a sht about the price I could buy for today or any other day, I made my investment decision years ago and I've stuck with it like a limpet, I don't want or need to buy any more AEX stock, regardless of the price, so telling me I could buy lower is meaningless.

Greying theres normally a very specific time line with regards to issuance of licence post submission of development plan?
Is it different in Tanz?

It's not 'meant' to be issued at any specific time. It will be issued when it is. The conditions for transfer from the appraisal licence will be defined. Essentially it will require proof of a commercial resource and a development plan that will have to be agreed. There are probably also negotiations going on in parallel about the remaining explo licences in Ruvuma. It all takes time. Patience is always required with these issues, and probably as much or more than most places in Tanzania!Peter

Ffs haggis, I've had this argument over on the madhouse and some bloody purchasing clerk* or something, lectured me on time horizons.
I don't care what people say, over the last year the share price has declined from a high by about 60%.
Therefore had you been listening to the likes of Ronny you may have bought at a better time.
To be frank he has been far more accurate to date than your city buddies.

*nb I've got no beef with purchasing clerks, we need all sorts in society, but I have, when they start bloody lecturing and patronising me.

A long time ago when he arrived here I said he was Ronthecon, I sussed him out very quickly. A lot of people said he was OK and I should give him a chance and stop being nasty to him. I'm glad his true colours showed through, and now everyone can see what I saw when he first appeared here.
