Hi Slepy,

The thing I see that makes this one a bit more likely, is that the company involved is part of the Zubair group. This isn't some random having a kick at tyres, they have people in AEX at board level, so will have access to more info than the average potential farm in partner.

I guess we'll know soon enough.

Farm out is something we’ve been waiting for how many years? I really hope it is finally going to happen but won’t be buying any more shares anyway.

It's also to avoid a false market developing where some people are aware and others are not.

Better to do it now rather than be forced into it because awkward questions are being asked as to why the AEX price has actually risen.

Kryptonsnake You are right it is standard practice in fact required practice that announcements of this type state that there is no certainty of a deal going ahead.
But it probably will otherwise they wouldn't make any announcement.

I think that it's just standard practice to state that there's no certainty of a deal going ahead.

The fact that it's a possible deal with a Zubair subsidiary sounds very promising. This could give us the cash to drill and bring wells online a little sooner than planned?

I have been pretty negative about AEX myself for some months and have sold off about 6 million of my previously held 17 million BUT even i see this as good news due to the connectivity with Zubair.

PLUS by stating that negotiations are in place it kind of puts a line in the sand don't you think as both parties will look pretty bloody stupid if their self-stated negotiations come to naught and I just can't see Zubair putting themselves in that position can you????

How many farmout talks we were in previously? IMO this is a weak attempt to keep share price above 2p. If there is no farm out at the end of the talks we will be back to 1p.

I dont know about nothing coming from this. Eclipse are a subsidiary of Zubair after all. I would take this news as serious and very positive.
