What are you thinking Edgar, 25p, 30p, more? The N3 trap is huge, it could hold volume of maybe 500mmbbl? Suppose we hit a more conservative 150mmbbl (with gas on top, leading to a larger amount of recoverable oil), what price then?

Haggis

485% for us is 17.7p per share.

If we hit commercial oil for the first time in East Africa that is not enough on the share.

Would be a nice start though!

Relax lads we'll hit oil on the next drill and the price will go up x4 in a day. Because Tanzania is actually in the North Sea. If that makes sense.

Can I please remind everyone to refrain from colourful language in this thread. Bar room level conversation detracts from the serious investment goals that this community of equals are pursuing.

I have posted several pieces relating to FLNG and this, as far as I know, is the first significant project in our region:

Since that June announcement the placing of contracts has proceeded apace with the project not only having been proved fundable but the entire offtake has been contracted to BP

edgar - I think HUR is an absolutely stonking bet for the next 18 months, prior to first oil. Nothing should go wrong with the engineering so as first oil gets close the price will surely rise. The entertainment will begin when the black stuff starts coming out - will it flow? How much? etc.

Back to AEX. Somebody mentioned earlier about AEX being bought out by the board/ lead investors. It is something I have nagging at the back of my brain - that the board could set up some nice situation knowing things that we don't, then buy out the company at what we think is a good price, but what turns out to be really, really good for the buyers.

BunI am currently more diverse than I have been.3 years ago only owned Aminex in an all or nothing move that might have drastically failed but did not.I now own IOG, CERP, more AEX and a boring fund in my Sipp that I will switch profits into as the years go on. That is an income fund but I will have a cheap ETF FTSE all share tracker too in the coming years. So still not terribly diverse but it is working. HUR also on the radar, btw.

Aren't you worried about lack of diversity in your portfolio, Edgar?

If we call the sore loser Ron names, instead of simply ignoring, he might go away. Like the deceitful haggismchaggis when they made a fool of themselves as sueyou1.
