Getting back to the subject, AEX shares, I note a rise in the share price. The start of the next leg up?

I didn't wish to invade a company thread, but the 'remainers' believe that by inserting sly little anti brexit comments they can influence peoples opinions, has happened by the poster I felt compelled to respond to.

Last throw and all others..yes agree, thanx.

Hi grannyboy

With you 100% - they just don't get it do they?

hxxps://order-order.com/#:RmP4Jz5nbv_XaA

Could this be his very own Emily Thornberry moment - certainly hope so as it couldn't happen to a nicer bloke ..... NOT?

Just accept that no matter what you have done in your life, according to people like this, the fact that you have voted to leave Europe proves that you are an unthinking moron who doesn't deserve to share the very oxygen that these high-and-mighty folk breathe.

Their hatred is almost palpable.

Anyone who uses "sovereignty" against membership of the EU does not understand the concept.

FREE MARKET!!!!!You mean the one where the UK pay 9 BILLION + pounds a year net for the privilege...plus the 4.5 billion the EU take upon themselves to decide what they spend it on in the UK, usually massive billboards telling us what they are spending OUR money on!!

OK, BG, I see it now. In my view the quote at the top makes sense, the second instance, you've quoted, is highly questionable. Maybe the fault is in the journalism, rather than the analysis?

sorry Peter not with you there, i don't think i edited it i just copied and pasted the paragraph, maybe a little further down the article to what you'er referring to.

You edited that, BG. removing "in the near future" and adding a "."

Reads a little differently - and doesn't undermine the credibility of the writers in quite the same way!

But, certainly, as we knew - onshore gas is going to play a far bigger part than offshore in the near term.

yes it could be a long time before Tanzania's off-shore gas comes ashore, so even more reason for the Tanzania Gov to support Aminex and its ON-SHORE Ntorya development plan

"According to a report by the New York-based Natural Resources Governance Institute (NRGI), the market outlook dims Tanzania's hope that its offshore gas will become a driver of future economic growth and development."

This 1975 constructed vessel left the Singapore shipyard on Sunday and will be offshore Cameroon in late Nov/early Dec on schedule. The interesting bit is the amount of near shore gas being allocated:

"Golar, Perenco and Société; Nationale des Hydrocarbures (SNH) have been developing the project offshore Cameroon for the past two years.

It is based on the allocation of 500 Bcf of natural gas reserves from offshore Kribi fields, which will be exported to global markets via the FLNG Hilli, with an expected production of 1.2 mtpa of LNG, representing approximately 50 percent of the vessel’s nameplate production capacity"

The other gas from the field is allocated to a 216MW power plant. From the Perenco website:

"Perenco is also involved in gas projects. Sanaga was the first offshore gas field to be developed in Cameroon to feed a third party power plant, which highlights the growing power demand in the country. The two gas wells are producing from an offshore production module, and exported to a gas processing plant at Kribi, where it is treated, to reach the required specifications of the 216 MW Kribi Power Plant. On September 30th, 2015, Perenco and SNH signed with London based LNG company GOLAR a gas convention for 10 years to develop the remaining reserves of Sanaga into GPL for the domestic market and LNG for exportation through an innovative Floating LNG vessel to be moored offshore Sanaga. This project aims to deliver a first gas by Q4 2017"

Also perhaps worth making the point that, in some ways at least, Cameroon is on the "wrong" side of Africa unlike Asia facing Tanzania.

More Warren Buffet? I'm sure nobody would sell and buy back lower in case of a takeover bid. It could have come at any time over the last 10 years. Ok it didn't.

Looks like it is trending down. Might be a smart move to sell now and then buy later at a lower price. If you time it right you could make a good profit.
