19/5/2016 21:08 | Oops, sorry skin. That remark wasn't aimed at you. | bunbooster2
19/5/2016 16:12 | 1.4 now to buy looks like someone has put an order in for a few. | blackgold00
19/5/2016 16:07 | "...and TipTop was there. Was he frocked-up anybody?" I begged TT to go easy on them on the basis they were just private investors looking for answers. | kevjones2
19/5/2016 15:34 | skin remember this one | blackgold00
19/5/2016 13:50 | Look sonny jim. I've had enough of your negativity. Button it! | bunbooster2
19/5/2016 13:07 | AS2 sufferers certainly, possibly AS3 (a critical condition!) | skinwalker
19/5/2016 13:02 | they are baffled by the share price......how many reasons do they want? credibility? options ( trough )? use of the word imminent? value destruction? funding? interest rate on debt? And on and on and on and on and on......... Ngms - are the board now presumably suffering from AE syndrome as well? | thecynical1
19/5/2016 12:43 | Shorting means selling shares you don't have and planning to "close the short" by buying the shares back at a lower price in the future. Thus profiting from the difference between the price you shorted at and the lower price you bought at. | bunbooster2
19/5/2016 11:45 | Indeed ngms27. It never crossed my mind there'd be shorters of Aminex until I noticed somebody else mentioning them here. | kevjones2
19/5/2016 10:15 | Small cap stocks like this are incredibly difficult to short | ngms27
19/5/2016 10:01 | No more panic, everyone. I discovered that Aminex have no shorters of even the remotest significance. | kevjones2
18/5/2016 19:01 | Does anyone know where one can find out the exact percentage of shorts. Shorttracker.com only cover companies that are being shorted over 5% so is Aminex being shorted less than 5% or am I looking in the wrong place? Edit: sorry, I should mention I can't find Aminex on short tracker.com. | kevjones2
18/5/2016 18:33 | Thanks Vike1. We'll get back to a decent valuation and beyond IMO. The quitters have already quit so it's all left to the longs to make the big money. | haggismchaggis
18/5/2016 16:32 | Greyingsurfer, no concrete hints given, other than discussions are ongoing, and seem confident a good result will be achieved that will allow them to drill later this summer. It sounds like farmout and/or financing options are all still on the table. Nothing more on the options that what I've already said. LastThrow was at the AGM as well, and gave the Board a good rollicking on it. I'm sure he'll update separately on that. | vike1
18/5/2016 16:26 | Many on the BoD have not been paid in cash at all this year. If you look at the salaries, they earn decent wages of course, but there's no other bonuses scheme in place and are paid below many mid-rate, mid-management City workers). Further, CEO said they've been able to significantly enhance their technical team this year, attracting some first-rate talent, partly from being able to use options as an incentive. This is exactly what every successful IT startup has done as well and saves them cash. I don't like the dilution any more than anyone on these Boards, but I think they are doing what they can to conserve cash wherever they can. | vike1
18/5/2016 16:23 | Many thanks, Vike. I'm glad you could make it, and thanks for the feedback. Sounds like KN-1 is progressing as hoped. Were there any questions or discussion of the recent options grants? Was there any expansion of the minimal explanation provided in the RNS? No surprise that extension discussions are taking place! You mention financing, and it being likely to follow quickly from any resolution of licence extension - that implies that they have options (or one anyway) lined up. Was there any hint of what those might be/involve? Peter | greyingsurfer
18/5/2016 16:17 | were the options gramted in lieu of other payments or simply because they could? | thecynical1
18/5/2016 16:16 | Plan = to finance and monetise the assets of course. Agree, we live in a 'show me the money' environment and nothing's a given, but I'm more comfortable with the company and the people running it than I was yesterday. I don't want to be in the position where I'm defending the options plan, but they only make money if the share price goes up from here. | vike1
18/5/2016 16:07 | did people coming out the AGM have such a glowing feeling that they went out and bought more or why did it go up today? passing resolutions at an AGM is hardly an achievement! | thecynical1
18/5/2016 16:04 | or do you mean "a plan" to progress things...........??? | thecynical1
18/5/2016 16:03 | to look after themselves? ; ) How are they going to pay for the drills? | thecynical1
18/5/2016 16:02 | vike - "show they have a plan in place".....to do what exactly? LOL! ; ) | thecynical1
18/5/2016 15:15 | thanks again Vike1, "JB emphasised that TPDC are interested in Ruvuma getting developed, not in stripping away holdings" plus in this environment where company's like Ophir are busy relinquishing licenses must help Aminex's negotiating hand. | blackgold00 |
