03/5/2016 09:25 | warbaby - I didn't write that report. Not sure where you got that idea. | bunbooster2
03/5/2016 07:18 | Bringing back to mind the stat in BB2's World Bank report on the financing for the Madimba processing plant - 834 km of roads in Mtwara district only 36km of them being paved. | warbaby43
02/5/2016 20:00 | O/T. Pete.. Indeed...would have been great use of the BH, instead, spent time with nippers. Happy either way. | cervelo
02/5/2016 17:46 | Been up across Exmoor, dunkery beacon beautiful scenery looking right out across the bristol channel if you can see that is, it rained all the way so no sights and no picknick there. downwards then to porlock weir, still raining had to eat sandwiches in the car. onwards to Lynmouth to find the sun and there it was, so had a couple of pints of Exmoor ale in the Rising Sun looking out over the harbor, and then the sun did come out, i met up with my old buddy from the cliff railway. and the day turned out just fine. | blackgold00

30/4/2016 22:24 | Updated Operations/Tanzania section on Aminex website (finally) | vike1
30/4/2016 07:40 | In view of CNG being posited as a possibility for Ntorya gas: Not only are refined petroleum products a massive import cost for Tanzania, so are the dollars that have to be purchased to pay for them; hence the possible government interest in CNG (or in the longer term, and multi onshore tcf, GTL?) | warbaby43
30/4/2016 07:20 | We don't invest in Aminex for money. We're building up the energy sector in Tanzania in a way which will change the lives of tens of millions of people. Imagine never having easy access to electricity at home? No Tinder, no watching reruns of Married with Children, spending hours washing your clothes by hand. How much would electricity change your life? That's what we are part of. | bunbooster2
30/4/2016 02:35 | Extrader - how many people do you know with 9,800 spare cash? Sounds like could be big chinese/american money taking a position. | bunbooster2
29/4/2016 18:07 | Hi tmmalik, Check out late buys ? £ 9,800 worth in a £ 27 m/cap doesn't sound like the start of a recovery / corporate action to me...;-<<br /> Enjoy the Bank Holiday ! ATB | extrader
29/4/2016 17:52 | Check out late buys | tmmalik
29/4/2016 14:43 | Looks like April is a good month for a lot of oil stocks. Hopefully, sooner or later, the small cap will benefit.... The May oil stock competitions are now open for entries, click on link below. | flyingbull
29/4/2016 14:16 | Can I please remind everyone to stay on topic. While discussion of other companies operating in Tanzania is permitted, discussion of unrelated Equatorial Guinea assets is clearly not of interest here. The only exception to this rule is for celebrity deaths for obvious reasons. | bunbooster2
29/4/2016 12:25 | Stranded Gas with no market. I think not We're getting OT here, but the issue is clearly will the gas still be stranded and without a market in 2020? Quite possibly not. And in which case there would be value in Ophir. Not that I am piling in now. Peter | greyingsurfer
29/4/2016 11:01 | Positive Motley Fool article today: Not directly exposed to the oil price Small-cap Aminex is the odd one out here because it's about to start production of gas rather than oil. The price of the gas Aminex will sell is subject to a pre-negotiated local price in Tanzania, home of the firm's soon-to-be producing asset. As such, the fluctuating price of oil doesn't directly affect the firm, but I think sentiment in the oil and gas sector is so low that it dragged down the firm's shares with the oilers. Aminex looks set to benefit from much-needed cash flow as imminent production ramps up. However, the company may need to raise further funds to progress its ongoing drilling operations. Nevertheless, at current levels the firm has plenty of upside potential. | clunes100
29/4/2016 09:56 | Stranded Gas with no market. I think not | ngms27
29/4/2016 08:59 | See Ophir and it's floating LNG ship aspirations have had a set back with Schlumberger exiting the program. Not profitable enough by the looks of things. They still expect first gas by 2020. 69p low to-day 20% drop. Tempting? | gerryjames
28/4/2016 14:56 | No smoke without fire. | bunbooster2
28/4/2016 12:51 | You need address that only to tmmalik. It may all be in his head ;-) I think he was refering to news regarding the PCI, or similar, acquisition. But not remotely sure | stinkypeet
28/4/2016 09:32 | Indeed they are, thanks. I'm having a bad morning! So any idea what news is expected before May 3rd? | dfunk1210
28/4/2016 09:23 | dfunk EOY results are already out so it can't be that and there is no reference in them to any announcement before 3rd May so they are a total irrelevance.... | stinkypeet |
