25/9/2015 15:40 | Meanwhile, having been severely embarrassed on May 7th in the UK, Ipsos-Mori appear to be seeking to resurrect their reputation in Tanzania where the CCM will ensure that the CCM will win, international observers or no international observers: | warbaby43
25/9/2015 15:30 | Video interview with CEO Bhattacherjee Jay Bhattacherjee, chief executive at Aminex (LON:AEX) says the company's board is as frustrated by the delays in the Kiliwani North field GSA in Tanzania as the shareholders, but he is encouraged by other companies recently signing GSAs in other parts of the country. Aminex remains positive that they will be exiting 2015 with production rates between 25-30 Mcf per day, which is a higher rate that the company originally planned, he says. | proactivest

25/9/2015 14:48 | Well Edgar.... as you're out of the closet and in the full glare of the AEX deluded, do you have any view on the pennant that has formed on the AEX chart since Aug '14? My understanding is that pennants are normally formed over merely a few days rather than over 13 or so months, but this is Aminex, and we all know the glacial pace of events here. :-) | lfdkmp
25/9/2015 13:54 | Now don't all jump on me for what I am about to say but..... I have been studying TA theory. Not because I want to be a day trader but because I need help for when to sell shares. I am oh so good at buying them but really really bad at selling. There, I am out of the closet. Now. During my reading I have been interested in RSI (Relative Strength Index). If you look at an Aminex chart for RSI any moves below the 30 line (or above the 70 line) are quite significant. And today the share is moving below the 30 line. That indicates that it is in oversold territory on a TA basis. I should also say that RSI (I have read) is not an indicator that sets buy or sell signals but is an indicator that can confirm other signals. Just in case anyone is interested, and on the basis that we have to fill the next three months somehow! | edgar222
25/9/2015 13:38 | So will the GSA actually be signed. The question isn't will the GSA be signed - it will - but when. If it, and first gas, keep getting put off there comes time where it may be someone else who finally produces. I'm not saying I think that's likely, but that's the potential concern. 25/9/2015 11:42 | edgar post 53935 Now THAT is a tongue in cheek comment :-) | lfdkmp
25/9/2015 11:30 | Of course they were! | aaaaar
25/9/2015 11:29 | Sorry, the vast majority of mine were bought around 1p. Not so stupid hey | ngms27
25/9/2015 10:52 | Nice interview. Aminex sounds like a great company to be holding shares in. | investopia
25/9/2015 10:27 | So Jonny doubled up at 2.2 and is now selling down at 1.8p! Well done Sparky! | aaaaar
25/9/2015 10:18 | The simple thing to do is for AEX to ask the Tanzanian government why the GSA has not been signed? Then tell the shareholders. It would answer a lot of questions. | whoppy
25/9/2015 10:18 | edgar "Am assuming that question is tongue in cheek?!" ;-) | lfdkmp
25/9/2015 10:14 | LFDKMP Am assuming that question is tongue in cheek?! The Tanzanians have built the infrastructure for Aminex gas. They are also working hard on their ant-corruption business friendly image. So to answer your question, yes it will be signed. When, you ask? Imminently. | edgar222
25/9/2015 10:09 | A candid, frustrated, but still positive update from JB. Delays, no surprise there- good reassurance about working relationships with lender. So will the GSA actually be signed. Or will we(imminently) be discarded by the Tanzanians? | lfdkmp
25/9/2015 09:55 | No he doesn't know. And is frustrated. But he says the right things. Focus on income streams. N1 is being recompleted (that's new) and N2 is updip and being planned (not new). Further income streams beyond KN1 in 2016. N3 is 1TCF potentially. Lots of repetition but still happy to hear it. Lots of stress on the excellent relationship with lender. Intention to pay back loan completely still. I like the frustration in his voice. This guy is impatient to make us all money. | edgar222
25/9/2015 09:55 | Interesting interview. Clearly GSA and production by end Q3 is off the cards - it's now "by the end of the year" :-( Not a great surprise really, as no one has ever reported that the gas processing plant is complete, and according to the interview it's now due to be completed by end Oct - which would set an earliest possible date for production. My view has been for a while that the GSA isn't going to get signed until they are pretty much starting to produce as there's really no pressure on TPDC to get their fingers out until they want the gas. So I don't now expect to see the GSA signed before end Oct either. On the positive side there's the suggestion that an early production system could be in place for N-1 as early as 2016, which is sooner than I'd expected. This could still all come together well, if they can get the cash coming in and sort out financing and/or farmouts. But the "if" is tending to get bigger as time goes on! Peter | greyingsurfer
25/9/2015 09:50 | He doesn't say when the GSA will be signed but seems to think that because Maurel Prom has had their GSA signed then so will AEX. I'm more the thinking that why if Maurel Prom has had their agreement signed then why not AEX? It's not like the Tanz government aren't agreeing to payment protections in these contracts. He's hoping end of 2015 for revenue. But he doesn't know. | whoppy

25/9/2015 09:32 | New Jay interview. Cant post link. Stupid ADVFN. | edgar222
25/9/2015 08:50 | So, we are now at day 94 of the 60-90 days indicated by JB. Next week we shall be in the final quarter of 2015. Patient - yes. Surprised, regrettably no. | lfdkmp
24/9/2015 23:00 | AHA so the decline starts. Revising my price target down to 0.9p. You rampers fail to realise something. If KN1 flows at 30mmscfd, thats 30 barrels of condensate per day. Might be some problems with dealing with that condensate from the well head to the gas plant, and is that gas plant actually ABLE to deal with condensate? What about the pipeline? lol Ask the FLIPFLOP and other mugs on LSE this please someone Questions questions. Too little condensate to be interesting but just enough to maybe put a fly in the ointment 0.9p BEST CASE BEFORE 2016 Q1 is out IMO. In other news, ETO flopping nicely since my BEAR CALL. Eyeing up my next big fish to fry whilst the carp like Aminex flail downwards. | dan_the_epic |
