24/9/2015 16:51 | I'd say Jonnies confidence is completely shot and will categorically not be buying any more AEX shares and will more than likely be selling down some. | ngms27
24/9/2015 13:44 | ngms27, "No GSA by December 31st and Aminex are effectively bust. The clock is ticking." and with that post this morning, I'd say, yes Jonny's confident, he just fancies picking up a few more on the cheep. :) | blackgold00
24/9/2015 12:51 | Still confident Jonny? ngms27 - 07 Sep 2015 - 13:31:03 - 53715 of 53919 I've doubled my position today, expecting the GSA before the months out and a sharp exit above 3p.......Hopefully ;) | aaaaar
24/9/2015 10:50 | GSA won't get signed as Gov won't sign payment protection- impasse!! They have done for M&P/Wentworth, so no reason to suppose they won't here. Will they be kept to? That's another matter. Though vike's link above is certainly encouraging in that respect. Peter | greyingsurfer
24/9/2015 10:31 | very light trading | blackgold00
24/9/2015 10:13 | Where there's a precedent there's hope. And Wentworth is getting paid! | vike1
24/9/2015 10:00 | GSA won't get signed as Gov won't sign payment protection- impasse!!& what's point in producing Gas when the Gov doesn't pay its bills- | bigsi2
24/9/2015 09:23 | No GSA by December 31st and Aminex are effectively bust. The clock is ticking. | ngms27
24/9/2015 08:54 | Gas inevitably a sensitive election issue and I certainly hope that AEX have made sure they have watertight tenure with land invasions and disputes being the most featured issue in the Tanzanian media. Barrick have suffered badly from this in the past. | warbaby43
24/9/2015 08:53 | It's all dis waiting on funding wots killing us. Killing us, I tells yis. | kevjones2
23/9/2015 23:19 | Must be better projects to put money into rather than ones that keep you waiting years because they can't pull their finger out, we are giving them our expertise paid by good shareholders so please show some respect and sort this GSA, otherwise we should start looking at ventures elsware. | uxbridgearms
23/9/2015 22:57 | Anyone recommend a pub next to a reasonably priced sauna and kebab shop on the 607 bus route going west? TIA. | gerryjames
23/9/2015 13:00 | For anyone interested in the Tanzanian political background, with Polling Day on 25th October, should be interesting to see if Tanzanian pollsters are any better than their UK counterparts when it comes to predicting the outcome. A health warning though - the Daily News acts largely as the CCM's own English language Pravda | warbaby43
22/9/2015 16:24 | a lot of oil stocks taken a bashing today, PMO down over 10% to 63. | blackgold00
22/9/2015 14:02 | YES! Quickly, but don't talk to that mescalin-crazed chief of the Blind Faith Brigade! | skinwalker
22/9/2015 13:44 | I suppose, if no news in the next week or so, we could see the share's down to the last equity issue price 1.9 or just below maybe? I am watching closely and my finger is on the buy button and is twitching. haven't felt like this for some time. skin, do you think I need to talk to someone. | blackgold00
22/9/2015 11:33 | Meanwhile: Lowassa is the former CCM Prime Minister who had to resign as a result of the Richmond Power Company scam and who recently defected from the CCM to become the Opposition's presidential candidate after the CCM declined to make him their Nominee. Plainly a charismatic individual as his defection has been followed by those of literally thousands of other CCM comrades. | warbaby43
22/9/2015 11:24 | For anyone tempted towards the view that finalising contracts with the Tanzanian Government might be rather faster in future: Strangely no mention of Uncle Tom Cobley | warbaby43
22/9/2015 10:49 | I wonder whether Orca are now on a sticky wicket, with the new pipe-line now connected to the same Ubungo power plants that Orca/SS gas have been supplying. Orca has a complicated PSA of which the production is split between protected and additional gas. the protected gas production which I believe is 40-45mmcfd belongs to TPDC/Tanesco, and that Orca only gets their revenue from the additional gas, that is production after the protected gas has been produced. We know that production has fallen from 102mmcfd to 88mmcfd due to some wells being suspended because of well corrosion SS-3, SS-5 and SS-9. but also "SS-4 has continued to be monitored and may have to be suspended in the future" so I recon, that is up until now, the powers that be have been desperate to keep SS-4 producing. So I'm wondering, now that gas via the new pipe-line is available whether those powers that be will now put the pressure on Orca to suspend the SS-4 well. from Orca's half yearly (Access to Songas processing and transportation) "Whilst the Company operates the Songo Songo gas processing plant, Songas is the owner of plant and pipeline system which transports natural gas from Songo Songo to Dar es Salaam. The Company’s ability to deliver gas to its customers in Dar es Salaam is dependent upon it having access to the Songas nfrastructure. Although there are agreements with Songas to allow the Company to process and transport gas, there is no assurance that these rights could not be challenged or curtailed by Songas. The inability to access Songas plant and processing faciities would materially impair the Company’s ability to realise revenue from natural gas sales. As a result of the Ubungo power plant re-rating that occurred in 2011 pursuant to the Re-Rating Agreement, the capacity of the Songas gas processing plant was increased to a maximum of 110 MMcfd (restricted to 102 MMcfd because of pipeline and pressure requirements). The Re-Rating Agreement expired on 31 December 2012 and, although it was initially extended to 31 December 2013, no new agreement is currently in place. Without the Re-Rating Agreement, Songas may de-rate plant capacity to 70 MMcfd (the capacity originally agreed to), which would result in a material reduction in the Company’s sales volumes of Additional Gas." | blackgold00
22/9/2015 08:26 | all this talk of payment protection is quite humourous..........p | thecynical1
22/9/2015 07:54 | Kev At the risk of repeating myself, Wentworth did not have a GSA last year. They had a GSA subject to payment protection in their own words. That is, not a complete GSA. Credit AEX with the integrity to hold out for the GSA they demand and not announce to the market something that is incomplete and misleading. | edgar222 |
