03/12/2019 08:16 | We would have been OK here if the rest of the BOD had joined the other one on the ski slopes. | astorcourt
03/12/2019 00:51 | Good post Lucy, also sent off the post as you wrote such a good letter. :0) | mrx001
02/12/2019 20:56 | Found a company with some Colombian link got them onboard for a cheap offer making the second geopark offer look good! Unbelievable | tommygriff
02/12/2019 20:00 | M&P is a strange company. 72% owned by Pertamina with nearly all its production coming from Gabon. It has exploration assets in Colombia but despite not having an overwhelming reason to buy Amerisur, it kicked off this whole process. I suspect they made soundings among their outside shareholders as to their appetite for taking more shares from underwriting an offer for Amerisur and got very negative feedback. I'm disappointed as I thought there was a sporting chance Pertamina might have wanted to push this through for their own reasons. There could be another bidder but it's looking less likely now. | kinwah
02/12/2019 19:05 | M & P were never a serious bidder. JW just used his contacts there to lay out the red carpet for Geopark. | lucyp00p
02/12/2019 19:00 | & if it's such a steal for GPRK, why isn't GPRK's share price reflecting that? | thegreatgeraldo
02/12/2019 18:57 | M&P statement speaks for itself ~ they don't see an investment case to justify upping their offer. It begs the question again why reject Geopark's offer when no-one else seems willing to beat it or go public with a competing offer and BoD have shown little ability to return shareholder value either. I suppose M&P could be part of some great conspiracy too... or just telling us straight that the business isn't significantly undervalued at 19p offer, in their opinion. | rollthedice
02/12/2019 18:31 | Thats fu*ked it only one result now we are well and truly stuffed!. | bryet
02/12/2019 17:56 | LucyP, thank you. Copied and sent. | 3roach
02/12/2019 17:21 | Lucy could you suggest that if holders are suitably aggrieved and wish to use your post that they also copy in the takeover panel as they can decide to stop a bid going through if circumstances warrant it supportgroup@thetake monitoring@disclosur | tyler durden1
02/12/2019 17:16 | I have sent mine - even though O own very few shares - thanks Lucy | bigbas
02/12/2019 17:03 | What does the Barclay disclosure today mean? | tommygriff
02/12/2019 15:29 | Thanks, Lucyp, will do. GC deserves all that is coming his way. It wouldn’t surprise me if the reason for his hasty sale, all for cash, is because he may be strapped elsewhere. I don’t see why we should be financially disadvantaged by that for any reason, let alone pity. | sharesure4
02/12/2019 14:42 | I'm not sure all of the kisses at the end will help but worth a try!!! | eddie_yates
02/12/2019 13:12 | Thanks. Normally all documents and voting papers for my holdings go to my broker and are then discussed by them with me. Given the previous experience with Clarke and his Board over votes at AGM’s it is not surprising to have suspicions about whether some events are underhand particularly when documents are sent direct but only partially complete. | sharesure4
02/12/2019 13:11 | Logged on and now it says they expect documentation in next day or two. Hope so. I'm voting against | bletchleypark
02/12/2019 13:01 | @Sharesure ~ if you use Interactive Invester the form is an online one (Portfolio>Voting Mailbox) which allows you to direct II how to vote your shares for both OGM & CMM. There's no printable voting form that I can see but if using a nominee shareholding service like II you wouldn't need one. | rollthedice
02/12/2019 12:15 | Think I would prefer my cash first then they can delist!!! | mrx001
02/12/2019 09:32 | Cheers BletchP 👍🏻 | spudders
02/12/2019 09:29 | Full details of offer together with supporting information (all 138 pages of it) and timescales for transaction all available to Interactive Investor holders so document has clearly been published! Looks like we'll have to wait until end of January to see our money if it goes through, with AMER delisting on the 16th January and payment 14days thereafter. | rollthedice |
