11/10/2019 08:01 | I'm not a fan of the strategy as it could play out as ONGC and Geo agree a deal with OXY to break up the assets post takeover, leaving OXY as the only bidder, although I guess that could happen anyway. I guess the employees won't have been delighted to hear that no part of the operation is going to remain after the sale. Let's hope Shell are on board. | ![]() lucyp00p
11/10/2019 08:01 | So, it's going to be an outright share sale to a single purchaser. It seems the presentations are complete, we just wait for offers now.The placees at 26p will want a return.Lucy's 38p would be good but 50p would be better.I stick by my prediction of 30/11. What a brilliant potential Xmas present. | ![]() acv74
11/10/2019 07:51 | So there is going to be no break up of company assets and it looks like the options are safe too!!! The Company has issued revised bidding instructions to interested parties, inviting firm proposals to acquire the entire issued and to be issued share capital of the Company | ![]() eddie_yates
11/10/2019 07:49 | Probably bids to be submitted by mid November. All sounds positive but the market reaction will be interesting. | ![]() davwal
11/10/2019 07:46 | I am like a virtual market maker. I put stock on to buy or sell at my choice of price. AMER was a bit odd in the closing auction. There was a bid for about 45,000 shares at 18.16p which was well above the last trade. I put some AMER on to sell at 17.50 which set the price. And you now see why someone was happy to buy yours at 17.5p! It's a good method though - can often get some decent prices in Auction before everyone else has woken up. | ![]() nigelpm
11/10/2019 07:42 | I can't wait for this process to end. Then, when I hear about oil tankers being attacked I can stop feeling happy. | ![]() lucyp00p
11/10/2019 07:20 | I’d say the best news is that the company is dealing with ‘multiple well funded parties’. | ![]() blackdown2
11/10/2019 07:03 | Good news. Its going to be a full sale of Amerisur. 4Q. Why not just say THIS quarter. | tyler durden1

10/10/2019 17:48 | Gemlotte you need direct market access or a traditional broker to deal in the auction. I trade cfds using Level 2 and I am like a virtual market maker. I put stock on to buy or sell at my choice of price. AMER was a bit odd in the closing auction. There was a bid for about 45,000 shares at 18.16p which was well above the last trade. I put some AMER on to sell at 17.50 which set the price. I have over a million shares which I am holding and hoping for a generous offer but I can't resist a little bit of trading as well. | ![]() kinwah
10/10/2019 17:34 | not a lot volume, but nice up tick on share price could we possibly be due a positive rns???? | ![]() notimpressed
10/10/2019 17:12 | I went to an auction once, and I must own up to letting a few go myself. Cleared my own bit of the sale room pretty quickly... Back to virtual reality, what's up with Amer today..? | ![]() davwal
10/10/2019 16:57 | A positive day at last! | rollthedice

10/10/2019 16:38 | I let a few go in the auction at 17.50p. Chance to buy them back sub 17p tomorrow unless they go better which I'd be just as happy about. | ![]() kinwah

09/10/2019 20:26 | personally I think the 1995 and 2002 are better years but all down to taste. Find them a little richer in taste. Anyway when do you think you will get your money. What does stay corse mean and to what are you referring it too. And I presume you mean by the last reference they come and go. What price do you think we will get as you probably know da dark art. | ![]() shakin not stirred
