I am speculating that this probably accounts for 99% of BB posts here and nothing wrong with that. Its when someone states it as a fact without firm evidence that is the problem. I really do not see why you are falling out of your pram over it.

OBA 27/8 - 4,855 highest for the month! Since we have interims on 12 Sept, they have to do something good short-term to boast in their announcement, no? Still, average for August is just 3,743 bopd vs 3,867 for July and 4,304 for June.

Let's hope it's all ours and not much third-party oil.

Like yourself I dont want to risk buying anymore in case no bid is forthcoming. I have a modest holding of 625k shares and thats plenty. My concern for not wanting to add is that if this share is so undervalued why are investors not piling into this share. I will never pile into just one share as that often ends in financial nightmare. Over the next few months all will be revealed !

I am 75% sure we will be sold and if we are sold I am 99% sure it will be for more than 25p.Probably more like 35-40p minimum.But I hesitate to top up more, stuffed to the gunnels with the bloody things

The room contains confidential information about the company right down to employee and business contracts, P&Ls and draft monthly accounts to date and all suitors must sign an NDA and be approved by the company before access is granted. Since that information is "insider" if they used it to trade, they would fall foul of the rules which are enforced as Val found out! If they made a hostile bid on the back of having signed an NDA before the period expired then they would similarly be in breech. Q

Ever? I mean, are you saying that once privvy to inside information, which, theoretically is not time limited, nobody inside the secret room can bid? What are the penalties? Who enforces them in AIM? How long does M and P have to wait before declaring Amerisur are dragging their feet or does GC have total control over suitors? I recall Oxy had to pay the other party to the Anadarko sale $1bn upon success but if a suitor is kicked out of proceedings or decides to walk away and then go hostile, before any action can be taken, the deal could be done.
