Every morning I open my tin of Dulux and paint a bit of the shed, then watch it for a few hours. In the afternoon I go to the shop and try and buy a pint of milk for £1 - they won't accept more than 60p. Every three months a bit falls off my shed and in an adrenaline induced high I wonder if I should rebuild the shed - but I can't be bothered.

All good practice to invest here.

pointless to speculate but little else to do
1. flow testing - announcement w/c 2nd April
2. delay/problems - announcement any time, good or bad
3. dry, and slipped in as a footnote in the next ops update - perhaps the quarterly production figures in mid April.

Would you not drill to TD regardless, to better understand the play?

Nope. Just the 30+10 days as advised and evidenced by past drills.
Little point casing the bottom section if the wire line logs indicate no HCs! In fact I’d go further, if no HCs in the top 100ft of the target zone then you’d P&A and move on. High porosity in the lower sands means fluids will be in that upper section - and if none there it’s “Hasta manana, c yah laters!”

Only other explanations - snails pace drill, rig issues, geo-complex, but might have expected a heads-up if material impact on completion.

95% success rate in the area and we’re 1500m from one of the thickest oil columns in Colombia’s most prolific basin. Yeah, I reckon so ;o))

Una pregunta: Why ‘complete̵7; a dry well? The reason I ask because “if to plan” completion should now have started - why delay calling it dry if that’s the case?

SOLG has started to move. Sellers had swamped the offer and moved up when buyers approached after a 3 month standoff. Same thing going on here imo

As somebody pointed out yesterday.... Indico - spud announced 31st Oct, initial flow rate 2nd Jan. In between, due to an apparent leak, logging result announced 10th Dec.

An indefinite strategic delay to announcing the Calao result, I’m not convinced...

Baffling, as certainly agree the operator will now have had MORE than enough time to determine the prospectivity of the target LS3.

The usual MO in this case is a movement in the share price caused by the frontrunners...̷0;...but the share price is nailed to the current range.

Results imminent?? haha if only directors realised how important delivering to advised schedules was. I would say that it is my belief that this is what holds the price back with this company. I'm left thinking that most directors are only interested in lining their own pockets rather than delivering for the share holders. :0(

A JV partner may not care "two hoots" but it will give at least "one hoot" on the timing impact on its partner on issuing news either for strategic reasons or good relations through the JOA. An Operator has further good faith obligations to abide by than a non-operating partner as well... involving discussion of the wording of news as one example.

If announced after close it is invariably bad news in my experience.
Pre-open has no particular slant as far as I can recall.
