Xxnjr, you’re absolutely right. It’s a deviated not a horizontal well. I had meant to write directional instead of horizontal. It will take longer than a vertical.

The drop last year was utterly contrived. Algos and hedgies won’t find it quite so easy to pump/dump next time round - with demand this robust and supply issues and risk all over the place the days of peak cheap oil are behind us.

Without further investment in upstream activity the market’s going to remain tight.

True tyler19, but Calao-1 is a deviated well. It's measured depth is only 384 ft longer than Mariposa-1 which took 38 days from spud to rns.
