Bad gateway, welcome and good timing I think, EOY results just around the corner
and we should see a maiden profit circa $25M plus!

Thanks for the posts on this one all.
Picked a few up this today on the back of the falling volume and indecisive csndles the last few days.
May have a falling wedge playing out too though needs a volume breakout to confirm.
Hoping for a rapid resurgence of the share price next week.
ATB.

ML - In my defence that must have included road transportation, I was only talking about OBA transportation...

That's it. Getting dark. I'm off - TFIF starts early, being a Public Holiday.

Army Day!
How they love to invent outside threats, enemies and aggression to brainwash the masses at home into unity under the Leader. Oh, stupid me, I forgot - its the 6-yearly Coronation on 18 March.

O/T rant over. Cheers!

Thanks guys, 12k target for 2018 would sound right.

davwall not sure I agree with your $3.25 oba costs tho!

I agree 12k this year has been mooted by the company - maybe it was mentioned in one of the interviews by JW/GC.

ML I believe the targets in one of the presentations from 2017 was 12k 2018 and 20k 2019.But I think this was from their own production and did not include CPO-5 (as I think the 7k target for 2017 was supposed to be).I may be wrong with the above but this is my recollection.

Amer's presentations have stated $3.25 bbl transport cost via OBA and

Opex /bbl $15, net production cash netbacks $30 /bbl assuming $45 oil...

on a different note, given that we hit 7k bopd in Dec 2017, what
is the target for end on 2018? I cant seem to find it.

I thought it was transport costs (opex) were $15 a barrel

Yes there capex is $15-17 a barrel so currently making a huge margin with WTI in the 60s.70-75% gross profit on a barrel is huge or in cash terms $45-$47 a barrel....multiple this by 7000 bopd and bingo....lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$No wonder dividends are rumoured

ac74,

depreciation, amortisation and capital expenditure... the development costs (drilling) will be moved to the balance sheet.

As you say profit and cash flow are very different things.

I don't think their break even point is $45 oil, i think that they make profits and are significantly cash flow positive at that level. What I believe they said is that the cash generated by $45 oil would finance 16 drills in 2018 with no need for further funding. So effectively break even on a cash basis but with 16 new drills done.Obviously cash and profits are two different things as profits factor in depreciation, amortisation etc, but still a healthy position when we are at $65 oil rather than $45 oil.Really from a fundamentals point of view we should be flying. But the stock market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent et al.

Yes agreed Chris. I think this will have a steady rise towards results. A good monthly production increase would help.

Quidnuc....i suggest you do the maths if u think they won't annouce profitability....my workings could be slightly optimistic but even if u half the profit AMER should make easily $20-30 million profit for the full year results.https://twitter.com/laptop1515/status/965179053681594370
