Trading Update due tomorrow, Mon 19/6/2017.

Trading profitably, zero debt and revenues growing at record levels month on month so far this year, with more new products and ranges to be launched throughout H2 2017 and 2018, it is due for a re-rate by at least 3x or 4x and still cheap relative to peer companies.

Where are we at ? ( other than the share price deteriorating!)

1) Cash opex per barrel produced expected to reduce from approximately $26 to $15 once volumes reach 5,000 BOPD
2) reserves increased to around 22m 1p
But we need more to increase our valuation 40mmboe +
3) POO weakness is hurting - down $8 per barrel of pure profit!
4) amer 15-18 month well programme already 3-6 months behind!
5) decline rates being addressed successfully: Amerisur is currently considering other candidates for similar treatments, including Platanillo-20, Platanillo-9, Platanillo-14, Platanillo-12 and Platanillo-5.
6) OBA throughput still appalling < 5k , target is 7k for 2017 . Should be doable!!
7) pad5 wells on hold: Q3: Amerisur have stated in recent presentations that they will be building the Pad 9 to Pad 5 pipeline interconnector next quarter Q3
8) no debt, FCF but Capex now $65m needs to deliver production & increase reserves.
9) RODA pump station .. still no definite news ??
10) game changer potential : Mariposa-1, in block CPO-5 oil flow test results due soon, their best estimate for CPO-5 was 26mb recoverable, net to AMER, though the full range was 35-103-288! (flow test 4.6k (30% with ONGC (70%)). interpretation of the short term test data due)

Buyout of Amer in 6 months 36p to 70p ??

They consider the news exciting apparently..

ONGC Videsh comes across good oil and gas shows in Colombia
Dated: 05 May 2017 12:09:28 PM

ONGC Videsh has encountered exciting result in its well Mariposa-1 which is under drilling in CPO-5 block of Colombia. ONGC Videsh is the operator of the block and holds 70% P.I. and Amerisur Resources holds the remaining 30%.

Drilling commenced in the well Mariposa-1 on 24 March 2017. The well was directionally drilled to a total depth of 11,556 feet (MD). Electric Log analysis indicates the presence of approximately 120 feet of oil saturated net pay in the Lower Sands Unit 3 of the Une Formation. Good hydrocarbon shows of oil and gas were also encountered while drilling this section. The well is currently under conditioning to run and cement a 7” production liner in order to initiate the testing program.

Anyone wondering why there is no corresponding news from ONGC over the Mariposa-1 well might consider that they are due to drill 501 wells this year... 3 RNS's per well which is pretty normal for Amerisur (spud, target depth, test results) would drown investors in ONGC ;-)

Exactly where are Amer up to with negotiations to RODA output restrictions. And If and when remedial works are completed to the pumping station, what new throughput figures will that provide and at what cost. Answers Amer seem to want avoid releasing.

He didn't imply OBA theft just that all other methods aside from trucking were prone to shrinkage. The problem with extra production is that it goes nowhere once the storage tanks are full. That's why the share price and output numbers are going nowhere....well down actually in line with the oil price.

At the AGM JW did talk about theft from pipelines.
If so, someone has a better distribution system for it than us!!
