He must be pleased with the millions he paid for PANR at 150p ...

If the big seller is RH, his holding must by now be much diminished. Although, I suppose that applies whoever the seller is. Heaven help us if there are two of them!

I note Paddy Power has the Conservatives at 1/6 to retain a majority. There's a certain irony to the fact that the City, which went into melt-down after the EU referendum, now prefers the 'hard Brexit' Tories. Personally, I've seen enough red just recently and would welcome some sustained blueness.

Hi Mintington.
I have edited this post. Let's just see what the next update actually says.
For now, CPO-5 looks far more exciting to me - it could increase AMER's sales by +25%.
As for being level headed...I lost my marbles a long time ago!

BWD - what has turned yourself recently into such a pessimist on OBA?....you always seemed to be level-headed.....I am hoping for continuing upwards momentum in shipments and an update on Plat 21 flow rate and commencement of Plat 25 drilling....not that the share price will likely move much !!!!!

Do they have 36 day months in Wales now?

I would guess that the OBA export figures for May will show that the minimum 5k bopd target was achieved for a few days in early May followed by a drop off to the mid to low 4000s for the rest of the month.

It seems a bit odd posting here now without the expectation of seeing one of Brian's famously cryptic responses. Or an obscure music clip from YouTube.
One comment of his (in relation to this share), which has always stuck in my mind, was: "I'd be rich if I wasn't so enthusiastic." Probably said only half-jokingly.

Hope the selling has stopped and we can soon start to move back up.

I think a Wake would be very appropriate, especially considering his Irish heritage.
I'm sure a date and venue will suggest itself at some point.
The Bree and Gopal's seem likely candidates.

Happy to contribute if needed. Failing that a wake down Euston way could be fitting.

Just back into the UK today to learn of the terrible news about Brian having died.

So very very sad. First met him c 10 years ago at the Brie Louies. Quid introduced us and I took to him straight away - lovely charismatic man. Since then spent many
hours with Brian over the phone where luck in his life had sadly not gone his way.

Anyone know his funeral details and indeed whether some extra funding is in order / needed ?

RIP Brian ( VAL ) my old pal !

No doubt disposals in small caps were accompanied by holdings announcements. Not been any such announcement with Amerisur.

Doubt many trusts would sell small cap energy sector as it would undermine their performance.

This may help explain some of the weakness in small caps. I've moved a bit into cash and a bit into gold (KEFI).

Investment trusts hit by nerves ahead of election
Shares in a raft of investment trusts slump ahead of election, with small cap and private equity funds worst hit.
