FG I think it is certain that both ONGC and Oxy are among the multiple potential suitors.I re-read the statement from a month or so ago "shareholders are strongly recommended to stay the course"Cagey/canny operators like GC and JW don't make statements like this lightly.GC in particular has a reputation to uphold.

It seems since the for sale sign went up all proposed spuds have stopped on their tracks.This can only confirm to me oxy, ongc are both involved as otherwise if one of them wasn't they'd be drilling as normal showing they wouldn't want to prove up further reserves whilst bidding for it.It would be like bidding against themselves so I see this as a positive

Boredom? Seems that the wait is just taking too long for some and perhaps they think there are better opportunities out there? Certainly seems to be declining, albeit slowly, by the day here. Can't believe we reached a high of around 19p post the RNS that started off all this speculation and have nearly dropped 3p since! Enough to do your head in!

A factor that hasn�t been discussed much, that will definitely increase the desirability of amerisur, is sterling weakness. Sterling is likely to get weaker as we head towards an election with a proper no deal better than a bad deal manifesto (with which the conservatives will likely to win).

The process could take another 6 weeks till a recommended offer is announced hence traders happy to dip out until signs of white smoke. The drift doesn't mean it's not going to happen.

Given share price is drifting below supposedly significantly undervalued informal bid approach @ 17p, the market is clearly speculating there won't be a higher bid or one tabled at all?

Each day we have seen an intraday lower, low (below the 17p).
