OBA last 3 days 4489,4423 and 4075 - that currently gives an average of 4488 for September.
Surely with limited drilling we are building up the cash pile.

It's actually closer to the Corcel Block (N of CPO-5). But anyway, rather suggests there's a lot of oil bordering CPO-5. Why on earth they don't drill out CPO-5 still a mystery.

I have to say those are somewhat weird comparisons - to Cove (post major discovery), Faroe (hostile takeover bid pre Stella startup) and Ophir (takeover bid) given this is an FSP which is rather different. The list of suggested participants is encouragingly long however. Probably no smoke without fire.

Keep in mind the update which suggested that shareholders should maintain their positions or something like that. Also, GC is on record on the interim statement concluding that 17p "materially undervalues the company".It is inconceivable then that a management offer of 17pps would be made, or accepted, even if they had the money, which they don't.That said, why do I feel compelled to respond every time an impatient and I'll informed poster suggests the company will be given away? I should learn to ignore this nonsense.

Yes my concern too, but I think too much poo would hit the fan if an MBO, and whilst it must remain concern, in my opinion Giles was pushed into the FSP by a major holder.

Giles would know the fallout, and I don't believe it is a coincidence that Ironveld with a major shareholder the same as Amerisur's seem to be going through a similar process.

A management buyout would amount to selling us down the river! It would be at the lowest price they could get away with above 17p imho. I would agree re Malcy's comments if as above, although they seem more positive to me...

McDaniels has a cast iron industry reputation and is therefore more likely to inspire a realistic valuation in the FSP, indeed I hope that it also discourages the company from being sold on the cheap.

Malcy has commented re Amer today...it seems to me that he's not very taken with the FSP and thinks they should stay independent.I think it was foiledagain who mentioned the possibility of a corporate buy out where the current management are somehow involved in the purchasing team/company...there will be some anger if that happens.

Some don't suffer fools gladly,Some not at all.The rest of us just suffer or screen.When all's said and done (and it pretty much has been) there's little to add until we get some real information and news which is why the bb has gone so quiet and that makes the remaining background noise so irritating.Q.
