GC is the reason we are at 13 and not 30. Most investors don't like him or trust him to put their interests ahead of his although he has a massive stake. Ironically GC stands to make tons more out of Amerisur by relinquishing control but his ego won't let him see it.

Clarke is coming up for re-election. Interested to hear any views on whether he deserves another term or the boot.Although the Annual Report reads well, the share price over GC’s chairmanship does not.
I thought Dana Coffield was responsible for the Board’s remuneration package.

Are people expecting a Q1 production update this week or will AMER consider it's already done in its RNS of 26 March ?

I wonder have the work overs at Plat are going:Platanillo (WI 100%): Workover UpdateThe Company continues to optimise production at Platanillo with a workover completed on Platanillo-8 to install a selective completion. This allowed an 8 foot interval of the Lower U sand to be perforated and produced with existing production from the T sand. That interval is producing in a stable manner at 820 BOPD with an expected water cut of 17%.The workover rig has now been moved to Platanillo-2, where it is planned to install a second selective completion and perforate the T sand, thus allowing both U and T sand to be produced simultaneously. This same operation will then be performed on Platanillo-7.

GC made the point that Coffield would provide the board with an expert counter-balance to JW, who until Coffield’s appointment was able to operate virtually unchallenged. Picture JW now running amok....

MLI think we met him at AGM two years back but, as usual, the NEDs and other directors kept Schtum whilst GC conducted and JW performed his solo Q

Of all the ironic ways to meet your maker, an eminent geologist, killed by a rock fall in the Rockies ticks all the boxes.
