Same old story for the last 6 years. Always a momentous breakthrough just around the next bend. Pity the fool

Carping and cavilling on this Board heaps depression on the SP, contrary, I suspect, to the interests of most posters. I don't mind as I'm here for the medium/long term, but I'm mildly surprised how assiduously some people work at cutting holes in their pockets. Of course we can justifiably complain about the huge management salaries, the scandalously low base for the latest LTIPs, and the lack of meaningful communication.
But for a small oily we sit on the threshold of some wonderful prospects, due to be highlighted next month, significantly I think, at a London AGM - sooner than buried somewhere breakfast-less in Wales.

Rewards for failing to deliver on targets. Gravy train for the management.

This long term incentive plan not right. Is it even legal. If it was a contract it would be unfair contract as it rewards them twice for the same thing if successful and stil rewards them if it does not make more profit.

If Board get options for things that MIGHT make profit means they are rewarded twice for same thing. First options for things that might come good then they would get options in any year where the profits went up for the same thing they already received options for

Get get rewarded for the things that MIGHT come good and no penalties for things they get wrong

Not a lawyer but this can't be right and should not be right.

That pipeline was so delayed, no mention of bottleneck where they got options before it was done buy got rewarded anyway and will do again if profits are increased which was point of pipe in first place.

It is good talk. I would jump for joy at 20p bid for company.

24p is low but a lot of holders would take it imo just to get out hope its only speculation and it doesn't give ideas to those who are interested we need positive news and quick to stop this talk.

On the LSE board lots of talk of a possible 24p bid on its way. Probaly just speculation without any foundation but I would be happy to take that and move on.

All the hallmarks of a morning smash-n-grab raid. Well planned & executed. Above board / legal..? Leave that for another day. B-line someone wants cheap shares.

Why would you have sold? What, in the bigger picture here has failed to deliver? Oil up, reserves up, deals done, output stable and improving, shale no longer looking good, royalties paid and a further land grab. Of course we blew 10 days of turnover to drill a water disposal well, but that's the game. Don't beat yourself up, some things defy logic, but I sure would like to be a fly on the wall in the boardroom.

Knackers - a bid in the low 20's could come soonish if the share price don't improve imo. Predators must be seriously looking at this now!

That’s all upside Ross, and should have in any normal market, ZERO bearing on the share price I’m sorry we’re clutching at straws here, someone is intent on holding this company underwater.

Big boys games. Could even be (dare I say) a management buy-out with connected stakeholders and funders. Seen many times before. If a suitor does not present themselves - as a mgt team you know the business, it’s assets and potential better than anyone.

Did Brent just drop 30%...? Nope
Did we just have a 30-40% mark down in reserves...? Nope (the opposite)
Did the world just find a viable alternative source to supply the future needs of the petrochemical industry...Nope

Getting silly - or precursor to the end game acquisition? 23p bid?

Whilst the selling continues the share price will continue to fall. At this rate 10p is possible. As holders here this is not looking great. Some good news here is badly needed. This decline seems very overdone
