Having been invested here since early Chaco days I’ve never attended an AGM as to far to travel, but as this years is an hour on the train I’m definitely going. It’ll be good to meet fellow PI’s if any here are attending.

Lucy, if your going give 'em hell. Targets, Drill campaigns, LTIP awards, OBA, projects that fall off the radar. There are plenty that they fall down on.

I still haven't forgiven them for the manufactured 7000 bopd achievement of a couple of years ago.

Where are the AGM details? London would be better than #middleofnowhere.Anticipating a mild dead cat bounce I dribbled a bit more of the housekeeping in at 13.1 as I do not understand this valuation at all. On the bright side, at least my loss will be capped at 13.1p

Looks like it'll be 1 out of 10 wells for 2019 in H1. Going a snails pace and wouldn't expect much in the short term.

Indico drill later this year, next well Sol!
OBA max is 70000bopd! Still have issues with the Ecuadorian pipeline. Third party approval expected this quarter.

good to see ghhghh. hence moving AGM to London is important. All are fed up and management knows it. Logic tells me that:
- BOD is selfish
-know very well what the shareholders think
- is in their best interest not to be taken over at this stage (low share price & they do not get cash and stocks any more)
- so they can:
+ more nice magic words
+ start kissing up (hence London) to the big ones
+ start performing or out they will be

and as they are not stupid at all - the outcome is clear and hence I am adding too.

but without pressure on them I will join the sorrow long term holders who are (not) blind

And on top of all that it's not a chart 'buy'.

The downside risk is greater than near-term upside potential.

i redraft awards for 2019

they get millions of shares for good performance

or they under perform again they get pelt with rotten fruit at agm

you ave to sign up to both or yous don't carry any risk does yas

ghhghh

Interesting take on possible corporate action. Timelines always difficult to predict but based on current attitude to management I would assume the financial institutions holding are pretty frustrated - they hold circa. 45%. If there is serious interest in AMER management would struggle to defend on recent valuation performance. The difficulty as always is what holders really believe the company is worth.

tyler,

Just responding to the idea that "Plat has more to give". In general terms, yes it will potter along chucking off a bit of cash here and there, but it's prime days are in the past... and they failed to live up to management expectations or promises.

No offence taken at all from your post.

So the question at the AGM would be "given that the current market valuation represents less than half of the tangible assets - ie reserves, presumably the loss is directly linked to the intangibles. Peace has broken out in Colombia so that's not a thing. It only leaves the management and their history of entitlement or greed, which contributes to underperformance. Don't the assembled board realise that their shares (and options) would be worth a lot more if they weren't here, and how does that make them feel?"

hope you realise it wasn't a dig at you

but amazing how now its a mature field with limited upside when just a few years ago it had plenty of upside with 12,000bopd targeted, and I wonder if that virtual target was another remuneration commitee consideration.

Normally maturity comes AFTER you've reached optimum production targets (tic).

Still it will come good big time, but we have to stop this annual option party restricted to a few already paid to do a job, that seems to have no relationship to any increase in the share price or profits.

Page 11 of April 2019 presentation:

Platinillo

"Mature field with limited upside
providing steady free cash flow"

"Focus is to maintain production
at 3-4,000+ BOPD plateau"

I didn't quote this, because I didn't think it was in question and wasn't really part of the point I was trying to make.
