"4,530 b/d of 35.9º API crude oil and with an application in will move to LTT shortly. This figure might even be conservative if one bears in mind the level of choke back involved."

Does look like Malcy got wrong end of stick about 'choke back'. His comment above infers that the level of choke on 4,530, when the choked back output was 2,680. So the comment about the 4530 being conservative based on the choke for 2680 is wrong. The choke for the 4,530 was 40/64in. The choke of 28/64" which is choked back is what's producing 2680.

davwal,

That may well be the case. Also, an initial flow rate is just that. Given that they've perforated a bigger section than was the case with Mariposa, maybe we'll get a higher sustained rate in future than we've seen with Mariposa..... or maybe we won't. Time will tell. Whatever, exciting times.

For the sake of context, the complete sentence in the RNS relating to current controlled production seems to suggest the reduced output is related to de-rigging...

‘The well is currently producing over a controlled choke of 28/64"at a rate of approximately 2,680 bopd with 447psi wellhead pressure, while the drilling rig is rigged down.’

Well the spirit of festive goodwill to all men (& women) didn't last long....

Happy to see share price rising. Hopefully 2019 will see share price going in opposite direction to the path it took for much of 2018!

"This is a board for AMER, I'll stick to posting my thoughts on the company. Some may not agree; it's (currently) a free country, but if they don't agree they're free to post an alternative view of the company & its assets"

Read Malcys full comment. He copies the RNS verbatim so your childish interjection criticising his comments were unnecessary - and pointless.

I ignore most of your comments across multiple boards, other than the political one where you peddle the dross that people who disagree with you are paid Russian bots.

Hilarious pathetic.

Good to see us get back to more respectable levels and with a very positive outlook for the future.

Oh what a change in attitude 3 or 4 weeks has made (myself included)...........

I see I need to ignore you completely, not just your infantile political ramblings.

This is a board for AMER, I'll stick to posting my thoughts on the company. Some may not agree; it's (currently) a free country, but if they don't agree they're free to post an alternative view of the company & its assets.

"Oooh! I've got another stalker ;-#)"

Nope not at all Gerald.

I've been invested in this comapny for a while.

Just noticed you peddle you claptrap on multiple boards.

Read all of Malcys blog post rather tahan cherry picking. He more or less copies most RNS's verbatim.

gersemi - it would be interesting to know why some analysts were allegedly surprised at the initial flow rate from Inciso..... it was remarkably similar to the intitial flow rate from Mariposa.

The company had previously announced there was far more net pay at Inciso & that it was a bigger prospect than Mariposa.

The oil explorer - whose chairman is Giles Clarke, the former head of the England and Wales Cricket Board - said that after a test at its latest well in Colombia, oil had flowed at 4530 barrels a day, more than analysts had anticipated.

It appears to have caused a stir in the City, especially among the analysts.
