Interesting and worth a shot Initiative Q is an attempt by ex-PayPal guys to create a new payment system instead of payment cards that were designed in the 1950s. The system uses its own currency, the Q, and to get people to start using the system once it's ready they are allocating Qs for free to people that sign up now (the amount drops as more people join - so better to join early). Signing up is free and they only ask for your name and an email address. There's nothing to lose but if this payment system becomes a world leading payment method your Qs can be worth a lot. There will not be a cheap sale here. Giles has the support of the city, bod, Minchinoko and a few large holders. Anything without a £ sign will not be considered. End of.

Where would Calao-1 be on the map? The bright green area?!

"On a simple structural basis, the Company estimates potential resources at Calao of between 2 and 7 mmbo. However, given the results at Indico-1, which indicate the potential for combination trapping, the Company believes potential resources may be significantly higher"

They are clearly confident in the north east to south west trend and if oil in secondary targets like this, then this is very exciting.

A very welcome start to 2019 - very impressive flow rate and ONGC obviously keen with immediate 4 well programme. Do not normally subscribe to takeover conjecture, but should this 4 well activity bring further success - perhaps ONGC will want 100% - doubtful they would want a new partner if one came sniffing.

Given we are throwing off cash from operations, have stacks of cash on the balance sheet, have a massive find in CPO-5, ramping up production on and on and on...they'll need to pay the right price otherwise management who are also very decent shareholders will just say, "undervalues, no thank you"

The worry for me is, given the assets and cash position, we are vulnerable to a take over bid at less than 60p.

Mariposa's initial results were:

"The well was initially flowed to evacuate suspension brine and then stabilised at an initial controlled rate of 1,487 BOPD, 0.5% water cut, 40.7 degrees API and 620psi wellhead pressure"

and a year later "production is currently in excess of 3,200 BOPD "

Indico's results are:
"STT at the Indico-1 well has flowed 35.9° API oil to surface from the Lower Sands ("LS3") of the Une formation at a series of choke sizes with a final flow rate of 4,530 barrels of fluid per day (gross) with a water cut of 0.33% at a choke size of 40/64" and a wellhead pressure of 241psi"

If they achieve the same improvements we are looking at a 10k BOPD well - 3k BOPD for us on this well alone.
