Just had another dip in at 15.13. Seems silly not to really.

Even with the recent good news, director buys and increase in share price we are still down around 21% on the year. Would be very nice to climb back up to breakeven at least and then have a stunning 2019!

Let's hope we stay above 15 at the close we don't want any more drip drip down most sells likely to be investers getting a quick profit onwards and upwards to 20p.

Not quite true regarding a potential sale. As JW said at the last AGM, he's not getting any younger. At the right price, it's over, but twas ever thus.

I look forward with great interest to a pres from the company which contains a bit more detail than a few blobs on the block

TGG,

They are going in the wrong direction, they should be looking a bit further south but those blocks are taken by some two bit company and a struggling Indian.

Did some reading on Corcel last night, they have some good results from a much thinner sand than what we have in M1 and it gets thicker in Indico.

Elephant field comes to mind, thats the fourth time I have mentioned Elephants. You heard it here first!!!

Edit: PS for the umpteenth time we are not for sale, GC/JW have far too much fire power to ward off anyone. Just be patient.

Knackers - where ONGC and AMER are concerned I doubt we need to fret about them doing anything in any sort of hurry...

knackers - your thoughts are based on geography, unless you've got some insight into the geology of CPO-5?

kaos - GPK have put dozens of wells down & are still feeling for the edges & even drilling out & out explo wells rather than dev/app wells.

tgg - 5 years even for oil industry standard is too long. they know but do not want to tell. or they suspect and do not want to do it.

if they had interest it takes like few years and few stable running wells.

which means very very good probably. even for us

I guess they should have looked where AMER are then...

Lucy, If you look north to block 34, GPK are still evaluating after 5 years of pretty frenetic drilling....

I think they appreciate our help. Fortunately, GC and JW are already minted so they probably won't stick around after a buy out. As soon as CPO5 is fully evaluated an offer may come if these shares are still undervalued.

I don't think AMER would let go that easily..all about price.

Why haven't ONGC bid already? They have loads more info available to them than we've seen....

ONGC Videsh plans to scale up oil production - hxxps://www.thehansindia.com/posts/index/Andhra-Pradesh/2018-11-16/ONGC-Videsh-plans-to-scale-up-oil-production/442902

If CPO-5 proves to be a substantial oil field as it is being hoped for, would ONGC go for the 30% they do not own?

Wouldn't it be cheaper for ONGC to buy out the whole of Amerisur then?

Just speculating ....
