But the judge also ordered the Amerisur company, listed on the London stock exchange, to abstain "immediately" from carrying out actions aimed at the implementation of the seismic project for Block PUT 12, some 54,433 hectares located between the municipalities of Puerto A sís and Leguízamo and that overlap with the Siona shelter. The company has a total of 11 blocks throughout the department covering 984,000 hectares ... The Amerisur representative in Colombia reported that the company is analyzing the judge's ruling and will soon make an official pronouncement.

My understanding is that the onus is on the operator to consult indigenous peoples before starting seismic work etc. They claim they were not consulted by Amerisur which I find hard to believe. It is not clear (to me) whether the order affects the whole block or just a small part of it.

Those actions were taking place in May 2018, further on July 14 and then a judgement on 21st August.

Amerisur's RNS department found wanting again.

Spreading largesse doesn't seem to be working well for shareholders. The schools, the bursaries, the surgeries etc., and where those looking after human rights have done little to provide anything. As the Colombian Government issued the leases, its liable to compensate Amerisur if it went that way.

Amerisur ordered by judiciary to cease seismic operations on put 12. I think we had hoped to drill a few wells on this block, not sure they were included in the dozen or so for this year.

Pintadillo-1

The Company expects to mobilise Rig D-10 to drill Pintadillo-1 once the ongoing work on Platanillo-22 is completed. A further announcement will be made on the date of spud. The N Sand anomaly at Pintadillo is one of four such anomalies identified by the Company in the central part of the Platanillo block. It is estimated to hold P50 resources of 11.44 mmbo.
