Ecuador is no tjust OBA. New blocks. New pipeline plan. export market. cooperating with local politics (going well or not???) very important.

This really is a strange oil play.

POO goes up 3% this falls 2%.

Sticking here cos I think future news will be good. I suspect production will be up this month following maintenance. The pumping station seems on track.

Drilling program in the lap of the gods but seems good news is more likely than a total wipe-out.

All you can do is invest in stuff where the upside seems to outweigh the downside.

Big crude oil inventory draw-down, way above expectations.

It's not good but I am convinced we're heading for an S/D squeeze. Venezuela a total shambles and Iranian export / new oil field expansion ambitions [for the foreseeable] somewhat curtailed...

Also not wishing to 'p' on the parade of the greens and battery powered this and that, all very laudable, but as I see it we're many decades from any meaningful mass intro of alternative/battery powered four wheel propulsion:

1. All heavy torque vehicles (freight) will require internal CEs
2. How will all these batteries be made - are the materials available, how costly will they become?
3. Where will all this additional power gen capacity come from? (it seems to take an age to commission a single new power stations in Blighty)
4. Where is the network of charging stations? Who will pay for it?
5. How will batteries be disposed (environmentally friendly?)?
6. How will battery life be extended/improved?

etc etc

Bless him, but I think Elon is on a sticky-wicket (no MCC pun intended)
