Well anticipated and possibly leaky. Can see a robust re-rate from here. Well oversold. Can see 20-25p in the next 2-3 months with ease. Still some cracking assets here and plenty more yet to bank.

Folk will be pleasantly surprised by the next monthly ops/production update IMHO. Post recovery works Plat-22 beginning to fire on all cylinders again.

At this price the shares remain low-hanging fruit. But not for much longer - it's time to be a-pickin'...

Trading volume is nothing special, so I suspect it's simply that expectations of actual drilling activity are kicking in. I've topped up a little today on the same basis. The only way is up...

- Commencement of multi-site drill programme

- Plat 22 remedial work successfully completed

- BOPD production steadily increasing

- Addn pipeline capacity

Forward indicators more positive than for many, many months. Could be a strong and long share price run through to y/e and 1H19.

Posters have explained plenty of times but none so blind as those who refuse to see.

SP going up as RH holding goes down and with most the news held up in same period.

We don’t know whether rexy selling all but rest assured market boys do.

How many times now have you asked same question but refuse to consider a rational answer.

So much news and drilling to come with Rex less able to influence and at any time someone could swallow up the diminished rex pot of shares

strange to see the share price going up. I checked the obits and see no mention that RH has left us, and yet I hear that as long as he's around the share price must fall. Can anyone explain?

I've held AMER on and off for the past year or so. Did sell out a while back after losing faith with the company but have decided to buy back in today as I sense that there's better times ahead and that the decline in production is being addressed.

What happy campers. That market correction has been 'nailed on' for the best part of 4-6 years. Oil market S+D fundamentals will remain strong well into 2019, with risk to the upside.

Yep that would be just our luck I've been thinking that for a while now.

Spud date sweepstake ~ has anyone gone for 'imminently' yet? :)

Knowing our luck AMER will finally announce good news on the same day we see an overdue market correction downwards. I'm 75% into cash now with AMER being only 1 of 3 smaller shares held.

Igualmente - spud news within the week. And finally an improvement in the weather. Plenty to look forward to. Should see a steady production increase over the coming months too.

I think Val would still be in if he were still alive.

As others have said, many times, the asset base is solid and the activity on the ground remains progressive.
The markets aren't going away in a hurry despite Elon's optimism for his cars.

He was always an assiduous researcher and knew better than most what was going on on the ground and within the local and national political context.

I don't think anything has significantly changed in terms of prospects since he downed his last glass of Teelings.

RH still has circa 40 Million shares left so if there was a concerted effort to subdue the price I would say it has worked. As for ONGC delaying things, I think that's in their nature and don't forget GC is on extremely good terms with the directors there, so i wouldn't rule out a scratch my back scenario either!

Anyway a little bird from St Mellons tells me that the rig is being moved as I type, not from my usual source but I think its credible.

All to play for here and I have been gathering nuts.

It should be remembered that one element in the overall lack of drilling progress this year relates to wells operated by third parties, i.e. three programmed wells in COP-5 and one at PUT-8. All are overdue.
It would be inconceivable that ONGC-Videsh and Vetra have been dragging their heels in unison to suit any possible skulduggery relating to RH on the part of the Amerisur management.

Maybe AMER were hoping that drilling activity by its operating partners would take the focus off their own lack of progress in Platanillo (whether that be by intent or simply atrocious planning and operation, or just very bad luck). If so, the plan backfired.

Action now appears very near, but still long overdue. Amerisur's inability or unwillingness to communicate properly with long-suffering shareholders on mission critical operations has been - and remains - scandalous and unforgivable.
