Weight of evidence (and boredom), viz. MACD crossover and positive divergence, also positive divergence on the stochastic and RSI, and a ParaSAR stop and reverse, suggest I may well be buying back 'tranche three' tomorrow.

I await a second close above the 8 day EMA and resistance at 17.25p.

There is a ton of further resistance, mind.

re - 88K shares (approx £16K) doesn't seem a lot ...

you have to realise AMER is a order book stock and at the time of the deal there was 56K at 18p, so the "AT" took the loot and more at that price to balance the order book, so that was the reason of the rise after that trade.

it looks like some are taking advantage of the bounce

Silently lurking, holding for a while before the recent downturn.

88K shares (approx £16K) doesn't seem a lot to make a big share price change on a company with a market cap of £223M.

I don't understand it, which I guess is why I will never be rich. My only thought is that demand and sentiment is outstripping the rate of sale by the medium term RH seller. However there is not logic applied to that, just a hunch.

i was not expecting to go any higher today, as the trades and order book look a bit calm at 17.75 v 18p
but
well well a 88K buy the largest of the day and everything went better 18.25 v 18.50p

Let's just pretend it's for this coming year. After all, the company is better placed now than it was in December 2016 with regards to production, pipeline, oil price, Mariposa...etc.
