09/2/2017 23:42 | While we're all feeling so negative, thought I'd post this little snippet, first of all you need to understand where the pumping station is: "Cash-strapped PetroAmazonas is still searching for partners to increase investment and output at Sacha and Cuyabeno after two separate negotiations failed. An agreement signed on 21 November between PetroAmazonas and China's state-run China Energy Reserve and chemical company CERCG for Sacha was abandoned on 4 January, according to official documents seen by Argus. A separate agreement with Vancouver-based First Merit Group for Cuyabeno also soured in August, when the contract's signature ceremony was cancelled. "We are in conversations with several parties (to find partners for Sacha and Cuyabeno) but the process is a bit stalled at the moment," Pesantes said." Source: The negotiation for partners for Block 58 has been going on about as long as Amerisurs OBA. | al101uk
09/2/2017 18:25 | Anyone know when was the last time any of the BoD bought shares? | francis55
09/2/2017 18:11 | The silence is deafening. Wish I had got out at 32p but had faith that we had turned the corner after holding so long. I think its time for change at the top, as they have milked the Amer bank account and the PIs for all they are worth, paying themselves bonus's for a half finished pipeline thats NOT delivering. While I dont expect daily RNS's with production figures, an explanation of the problems would not go a miss, how are they planning on debottlenecking what is the cost? What production are we still transporting via truck? What other issues have we got? There are obviously some because the share price has TANKED since the OBA came online. VERY disgruntled share holder (300k shares) who will not be voting for a continued period under the current regime. | gtfcniles
09/2/2017 17:12 | Hey roll the dice not as expensive as my 29.5 lol. It's just a waiting game it will all be good. | juuunx2
09/2/2017 16:43 | Think positive..... done that, hasn't helped :( Could be a decent buying opportunity but in the absence of news/sense of direction it'll be a total stab in the dark to try and bottom fish. My last buy at 24.4p is already looking expensive. | rollthedice
09/2/2017 16:26 | Oil rising yet we're getting slaughtered. What's REALLY happening, is what I'd like to know ???? | ladeside
09/2/2017 16:23 | Well my buy at 25.5p looks unfortunate, need some of JW's timing. | al101uk
09/2/2017 16:20 | 23.75 bid, oh dear | currypasty
09/2/2017 16:04 | Looks like moneylender s going to get his wish. Wtf is going on with this co?Time to circle the wagons it's too quiet out there as John Wayne used to say before the flaming arrows hits the tapaulin above his head. The indigenas are restless! | valentine
09/2/2017 14:22 | I hope it was not bait offered to secure his 'support and loyalty' - and taken! | tonyrelaxes
09/2/2017 10:43 | So John Wardle got really lucky on KENV over the last few weeks... 26/1/17 - Tracarta sells 4 million shares (moving under the 3% declaration holding) 1/2/17 - Placing announced to raise £1.25 million. 9/2/17 - Tracarta has bought and announces it's back over 3% I'm sure it was just a liquidity issue combined with very fortunate timing. | al101uk
09/2/2017 09:50 | Only have to look at the 1 year chart to see how directionless this has been. Compared to a lot of the O and G sector which had rerated over the past 12 months. Doesn't need much to release that hand brake. | shanig
09/2/2017 07:28 | Blimey jovi, 'chelwood', now there's a blast from the past. He didn't like my charts! Hey westie! Hope you're keeping well;¬) M | marnewton
09/2/2017 05:21 | Just had another look at the activity of Amer via reports on their website - its a long term hold to make any kind of money as the activity on the ground is all pretty positive, good cash flow with no debt makes it stand out so its a well run company financially and operationally. If they can bring the national grid in the hard to reach drilling areas and contribute to the local peoples way of life then all the better but there is clearly a fear and/or cultural ideology with the BoD to hide news on social unrest from investors as if its not going to effect the share price or we cant find out for ourselves. If social unrest is having a temporary effect on the (BOPD Figure) tell the investors and allow us to make up our own minds in regards to our investments - is it not better that we are fully informed on all aspects of the business than to create confusion and distrust based on the BoD lack of information around this are? | francis55

08/2/2017 20:08 | Sounds familiar Val. Only this time will be different if no progress has been made. Believe me - big guns will be present to strip Clarke of any previous glory ! | westmoreland lad
08/2/2017 19:48 | 8-10 weeks?..Just in time to deter, and diffuse, criticism at the agm as per usual. | valentine
08/2/2017 19:47 | Curry -- yep, imo we're as safe in AMER as anywhere in O+G / AIM. Need a positive RNS from management ! telling us EXACTLY where we are v the business plan going forward into 2018. Fortunately we are both well spread into 20 odd companies and not reliant on the likes of Giles Clarke to make us are fortunes ! GL | westmoreland lad
