We already know that many of the board's 2016 objectives weren't met.

However, there is money to be made here - by the company and investors - but whether the current BoD is the right team to exploit the undoubted opportunities is debatable.

3100 is just the amount going through the OBA not total production.

3100bopd which is less than half of forecast 7200bopd and its 24th Jan and twice social unrest has been mentioned but never before in his updates- is he teeing this up as another excuse for failed numbers on production. I might not get a 4th roller coaster up to 32p any time soon as i believe he is drip feeding the reason that there is an annual report coming thats going to miss its important goals.

TDH i use ADVN HTML charts and they work very well i find, there are problems using java if you are a chrome user, it does not support java i believe so i just stay away from the java options. Chrome is my preferred browser!

I also use advfn for the rns alerts via e-mail they work well, usually within 1 minute of them being available on screen.

For some obscure reason, lost in the mists of time, I use Morning Star for RNS alerts. I'm not sure I've seen their charts but they'll probably use one of the usual suspect like BigCharts. TradingView are better in my opinion.

HTML (TradingView) on ADVFN gives 'proper' OHLC for various time frames. I imagine, as a blue, it'll be live for indices.

Thanks Martin, got used to java charts before HTML was available (showing my age again!)
Must say I agree for trading I use IG and charts are OK but always need an accurate market hours OHLC for minute/hourly/daily. Don't need much analysis stuff just log, trend lines and Fib. Got used to ADVFN and put up with the hassles but had enough today so looking for better - somebody said Morning Star?

I trust you are well.

I don't know much about ADVFN charts. I've no knowledge of their JAVA charts at all - plug-in required - which I avoid. I do know that their HTML charts are supplied by TradingView. They seem quite good via ADVFN, or you could subscribe to TradingView directly, but I think it's quite expensive.

I use MetaStock, which is expensive!

Day Trading indices I'm happy enough with ProRealTime supplied by IG for free. Or IG's own charts are adequate.

Thanks Francis - no argument there. My point to ADVFN is they don't advertise the issue, don't offer much support to solve it, and it takes months before they make a patch or whatever to solve the issue and often by then another version has caused another one!

The knowledgeable and those well-versed in mm antics are dippng toes and topping up given the opportunity. Did so on Thursday personally but don't let it stop yourself, if so inclined.

Anyone else struggle with ADVFN when using a MAC? Everytime there is an IOS upgrade I get issues with JAVA. I have struggled for months since last update in September and still can't get it to work as I want - can't save preferences, charts open in HTML and half the time when I switch to JAVA they hang and when I clear the cache it more often that not opens a different chart! I have had enough and just given my notice so after too many years to remember I will not be renewing my ADVFN subscription in the Autumn. Frankly if I could get my money back I would be out sooner.

Any recommendations for an alternative programme?

Martin - what else do you use for charts?

Half an hour for pgw to relay the Wooster chapter for the week. Play cards close to chest but at least I'm ahead on yesterday's purchase.. we won't talk about last week until we surge past 30p and leave the field standing..

The share price movement all comes down to Amer communicating with the market and PIs, an announcement in Jan17 of

1) moving to 7.2kbopd production in 2017 h1
2) 5kbopd through OBA - 2.2kbopd now
(OBA roda debottlenecking underway and fix Ecuadorian reception facilities that are limiting the flow rates)
3) 4 well drills in the next 4 months with a schedule & drill / flow results
Platanillo 22/24 results 09jan17 - 28feb17
4) Engaged in talks for oil into OBA in q2.
