Ukrainians and Russians were brothers and sisters, but I doubt they will ever be so again.

Such a bloody shame in the true sense.

The capacity of the processing plant is currently 850kt, so with the additional kit on order ALTN should increase production in increments.

I wonder when the new kit will start arriving?

The Ukraine war is essentially about trade, energy and food security, with the perpetual battle for Crimea to control access to the Black Sea.

If Ukraine goes towards the EU and NATO it is very definitely a threat to Russia and their prosperity and trade.

The war itself is an opportunity, not just to implement protectionist and racketeering policies but to pump billions into the military industrial complex to make the rich much richer.

I fear that Russia may see Ukraine as a fight for survival rather than merely great profit.

Ok, so if Putin drops dead tomorrow and the next guy pulls all the troops out and surrenders Crimea, what happens next?

The lend and lease military aid bill signed months before the war gives the USA a military base in perpetuity in exchange for unlimited weapons, so does the USA get Crimea military bases?

I can't see any Russian accepting that plan.

$45 billion in new "aid" to add to the existing $68 billion. That's a lot of cash, most of it going straight to US arms companies, but what exactly does the US get for it's money?
