01/2/2021 15:45 | I have been involved in this for ten years abd I ca tell you one certainty - what goes up always comes down again! I have a thought. Anyone volunteer to post details of this on the Reddit or RobinHood websites? It could be worth 5 Billion by Friday .......! | timgw
01/2/2021 15:35 | Lets have a 150p+ finish then! | brasso3
01/2/2021 14:40 | The Reddit message board's SocialWealthRelocati Probably too large a market to be much altered by the herd of young speculators, but it may ripple a few investors interest towards Gold - Gold Miners? Although technically you could say that ALTN ALTYNGOLD PLC is a Gold and Silver Miner. | stonefold
01/2/2021 14:38 | You won't get 1.40/1.50 either soon. | excellance
01/2/2021 14:36 | I was hoping for a sneaky top up at 120p - 125p. I am not sure I will get that opportunity now. | brasso3
01/2/2021 14:31 | This will rise 4 days out of 5 for the next month! | excellance
01/2/2021 14:25 | Nice move up. Hopefully that'll be thr bottom in at £1 start the bull run!! | ilostthelot
01/2/2021 14:03 | Altyn was trading at £2 when producing circa 3000-3500oz a quarter of gold, now they have declared 6500oz for Q4 the shares are only trading around £1.50p It is pretty obvious the share price is going through £2 PDQ | grimreaper2019
01/2/2021 13:54 | If growth (even modest growth) is maintained this year, and there is even a modest rise in the POG, then I can see 400-500p by Xmas.I suspect there will be some sort of corporate action (linked to the consolidation) this year too. Perhaps that's why they may have started a positive narrative now (using words like "soared" in the RNS)? If the share price can reach 500p by Xmas, and there is a clear and credible plan for further growth and exploitation of the massive resources (perhaps even a small maiden divi in 2022?), then perhaps our illustrious major shareholders will have options for divestment, merger, US IPO, or outright sale at say 700p?Just my musings anyway.NAI | cyberbub
01/2/2021 12:36 | Let’s wait for the formal annual results for more details on plant, mill etc. Easy to be critical but they are giving us basic quarterly production figures and Q4 has seen a vast improvement. I’ll take them at face value with a positive mindset rather than taking everything in a negative spin.. | highly geared
01/2/2021 12:28 | Oh look, cruised thru 140p, the market appears to like today's news, and only someone who is missing out on this beautiful rise would moan. What's with the negative vibes maan? | excellance
01/2/2021 12:24 | There's always moaning minnies whinging on that something isn't quite to their liking, looking for perfection...but I'd like to draw, your attention to a much more important line... "Revenues increased significantly by 92% quarter-over-quarter mainly driven by higher gold production, which soared by 88% quarter-over-quarter Be happy and stop your moaning, today is a great day! | excellance
01/2/2021 12:17 | I totally agree with that. It's a question of motivation and reward. Again, improvement will be incremental. Look at the massive changes at RMM recently. Not only were the finances totally reorganised but they also cut production during the downturn, and cut staff numbers, and now refinanced with a new management team they are also recruiting new management and staff in every corner of their operation...a totally new culture and mindset! | excellance
01/2/2021 12:11 | I would prefer the company to give explanations that are due not BB members speculating .... | stevea171
01/2/2021 12:10 | Yes , expectations of improvement need to be kept realistic there are plenty of hurdles to clear in making s big turnaround in output. Some not necessarily related to the equipment. A big one will be culture. The company has ambled along the past 8 (?) years and the workforce will be used to that. The step up also requires recruitment , training , IT , shift pattern changes , maybe pay schemes will need to be modified. It all needs a change in mindset from what they have been used to I've been there and its hard to do. | vish65
01/2/2021 11:57 | I am chuffed/relieved with this mornings update.. wasn't 'brave' enough to top up at £1. Well done those who did and any new buyers. | king suarez
01/2/2021 11:49 | We will have further incremental quarterly improvements over the next dozen quarters...Rome wasn't built in a day! There are always bottlenecks, you deal with one and then another becomes the target. | excellance
01/2/2021 11:39 | HG. Yes, the mill has picked up on Q2 and Q3 but is still way below par with no explanation for this. At the start of Q4 there was a backlog of approx 90k tons not processed from these 2 quarters and all the mill has managed to do is process the 135k ton mined in Q4 plus 5k ton of the backlog. So there is about 3,000 contained oz of gold in the backlog that the clapped out mill has not caught up with yet. What happens when production increases further? What happened to the mill upgrade in the summer when the mill was down for months? Ore mining seems to have plateaued with no increase in Q3 or Q4 on the Q2 level. No reporting of mill recovery % again. | stevea171
01/2/2021 11:22 | They added new equipment to the mill to process finer material, so maybe that is improving overall efficiency significantly, Greater recoveries? | excellance
01/2/2021 11:22 | Hi KS, I suspect the increased recovery rate is not a coincidence. On 30th September in bullet 5 they reported about introduction of a fine crusher on the production line. Was this initiative recovery-based or throughput-based?.Lo | tightfist
01/2/2021 11:13 | Am I right - looks like recoveries were around 85% for the quarter? Gold poured 6,547oz out of contained gold mined 7,456oz = 88% But adjust for 3.7% extra milled than mined in QTR gives 85%? That is a step change in recovery rate from the low 70%s or am I missing something? | king suarez
01/2/2021 11:12 | Freedom Finance may still hold us back for a while but hopefully they will be out in a week or so now, on these volumes? Touch wood. | cyberbub
01/2/2021 11:08 | It is clear that even with a 35% rise volume is low, and ALTN is still unloved and under the radar. This tells me that this is STILL cheap as chips and the herd have not heard, and are as usual still awaiting the share price to double before agreeing that it's worth a punt. Don't wait for this to double, buy now, don't delay, don't miss the SALE. Even my fintec daft son has bought ALTYN today! | excellance
01/2/2021 11:02 | Freudian slip? | excellance |
