To me it is clear that they are more interested in a,corporate partner rather than pandering to retail investors that don't really bring much to the table, so we'll just have to watch and wait while the jigsaw pieces are placed into position.

First let's see phase one succeed, and see production up to profitable and sustainable levels. I think a partner will be involved for phase two.

Ths plan was released 4 or 5 years ago, but funding didn't come until the gold price became solid enough.

The ducks are lining up now.

It is pretty clear something strange is going on with the trading in this stock, over the last 3 weeks I have witnessed very large buy trades hitting the offer and the share price barely responds then hey presto a few tiny sells hit the bid and they drop it in moments.

When you invest in ALTN you have to accept you are investing in a company that has zero promotion in the city, has minuscule news-flow and a BOD who seem to have no interest in minority holders.

There has been no clear explanation as to why there was a consolidation, why there was a name change, why the need for a new US based Non Exec Director, add to the mix there is no production guidance and no obvious strategy beyond aiming to increase production.

The positives are management and associated parties own circa 70%, bought in around £2, the resource is circa 6m+ gold ounces and the share price hit £3 in August.

I feel a purchase around current levels will profit in due course and have added.

The share price is priced as if we are going bust!

Example...

ECR with no assets other than some prospects, a drilling rig, and enough cash for maybe 9 months...£25m mkt cap...

ALTN millions of ounces proved up, ongoing exploration, a functioning and productive gold mine and processing plant with revenues of $20m+ pa...mkt cap £31m

Very clearly the market thinks altyngold won't turn this around, and we have recently needed to get a further $7m of funding so there is a bit of a gap between profit and loss, but I think most of us expect that production, revenues, and therefore profit, will grow quickly from here, albeit a little behind plan.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that we're going bust.

I do think that we are being packaged for significant corporate action, probably a RTO or JV, but we'll have to see how things pan out.

This one most disappointing share of 2020 for me 42% down hope 2021 sees a better share price tempted to average down wait and see where the gold price bottoms.

The gold smackdown came on the back of poor US jobs numbers, leading markets to expect greater stimulus, so the gravy train continues on the QE express, but ultimately it's great for gold in the longer term.

I think most gold investors know that this pullback is short term and long term (medium term even) $2000+ is on the cards. Also, $1850 is still a VERY good price for miners.

Despite the gold price, gold miners still held up relatively well yesterday, ALTN still in range on the chart, CEY, HOC also had a relatively minor reaction, if gold recovers/bounces a little bit next week, we could hopefully see interest return again.

Yeah, XTR EML and GRL all look good, but tied up elsewhere at the moment.

Can't be in everything, so I like to keep it to hslf a dozen max.

Excellance, agree with your last post. I suppose the big question about the 'shenanigans' which seem to be going on, is whether we pesky PIs will benefit? Or will the owners and their rich friends be the only beneficiaries?
