28/1/2021 15:34 | CHL I'm still holding - around breakeven at these prices. Haven't got a lot compared to some on here, but still a fair bit for me, around 6% of my porty. Will wait and see the trading update, while hoping that there is enough buying support to keep it around 100p... | cyberbub
28/1/2021 15:31 | Grimreaper, I believe it's common for declarable holders in countries with weak law enforcement and a liking for shady deals, to not declare their holdings. At the end of the day the FCA only occasionally prosecutes the most blatant financial criminals in the UK; small scale insider dealing is routine and ignored. So they're hardly likely to tackle an obscure holder in Kazakhstan! As bsg says it's possible that we might see a further drop towards 80p, or maybe there will be enough support around 100p to absorb any sales by FF.From experience I would expect a volume spike on the day they're finally out though. | cyberbub
28/1/2021 15:26 | So are you still confident :-( | cool hand kev
28/1/2021 15:25 | Gold spikes 1% - ALTN down 9%.... | cyberbub
28/1/2021 14:03 | Getting very tempting to add even more! | excellance
28/1/2021 08:21 | If they were selling out I would expect the share price to fall further, nearer to their entry price. MM's aren't normally this generous. Also it's very slow progress as well. | bsg
27/1/2021 22:54 | There can be no other explanation other than FF selling out, they have not TR1 and, as is the norm, Altyn have not assisted investors in any way by way of comment. The fact the share price graph shows a downward slope from £2 since those shares were issued is evidence enough, the question is how many have they got left? I suspect not many. | grimreaper2019
27/1/2021 22:40 | I bought more yesterday. The ore is already piled up end of Q3 and ready for our newly refurbished mill. Surely ...surely they can get it right this time ?? Expecting figures around 11th Feb | vish65
27/1/2021 22:13 | Reinforces the FF overhang theory. 36k would have moved the offer previously. | sloppyg
27/1/2021 21:59 | I picked up another 36,000 today. | stockknobjockeyvanbookstino
27/1/2021 19:58 | Hope they are out earlier as we have seen the longer it takes the more chance they are not that exciting | onedayrodders
27/1/2021 18:23 | I am certainly not expecting Q4 numbers out in the next couple of weeks. Last year they were published on 16th March. The previous year was the 1st May! | jc2706
27/1/2021 18:23 | Looks like another 25k dumped today, if this carries on daily then they could be out by 3rd week of February. If you get more PI buying then it could be sooner as they seem to be matching buy/sells equally. | grimreaper2019
27/1/2021 12:40 | Some positive Q4 gold numbers , out say next week or the week after, should allow the remaining overhang to be absorbed and the share price to move forward. | highly geared
27/1/2021 12:00 | If there is a overhang it is most likely a market maker may be prepared to take 100k - 150 off the book and job it out at a profit - normal practice - how do I know - I just know. Worth remembering as it looks like the block tranche selling is coming to a close - a good entry point - probably. | wealth_creator
27/1/2021 05:07 | Goldenshread - you maybe right and I have added a few more although the spread is a worry. | michaelfenton
26/1/2021 12:42 | The more retail buyers the faster the overhang clears - Level 2 continues to strengthen. | grimreaper2019
26/1/2021 12:30 | The chart is looking very attractive. The probability of a sharp move up looks on. | brasso3
26/1/2021 11:54 | Price is strengthening behind the scenes, they are happy to take size and want a premium for a 10,000+ shares. There will not be a 'overhang cleared' sign over the stock when it happens, investors have to make their own calls on this aspect therefore. It must be getting closer. | grimreaper2019
26/1/2021 09:53 | No, just an ordinary punter averaging down at what is hopefully the bottom. | dr know
26/1/2021 09:39 | Is there a Mr 10k coming to the party? | bsg
26/1/2021 09:38 | Can't see this sitting around at current levels for much longer, an update is due in March, the overhang must be closing out, added a few last week. The major shareholder is in at 2.55p a share ! | grimreaper2019
25/1/2021 23:17 | Unfortunately Freedom Finance did not provide a TR1 to the market when their shares were issued, it seems they have ignored the reporting 'rules' as such they have not declared their selling down every 1% stake as some entities do. The reporting rules are quite complex and vary depending on many factors, maybe Freedom have not actually broken any rules at all, it is open to conjecture. Having completed extensive research I see no other explanation for the share price fall from £2 other than a significant overhang, there is nothing out there to suggest anything is materially wrong with operations or production, on the contrary, careful reading of the last few RNS statements provide a quite upbeat commentary. I think the litmus test will come in February, assuming there is no gold price shock I maintain the share price will bounce as the overhang clears. I do not see Rowe as the seller as his stock (2.8%) would have been absorbed by now based on the traded volumes since October. | goldenshread
25/1/2021 21:56 | If youre saying that Rowe immediately bought the FF shares then proceeded to dispose of them, I'm not sure the facts back that up, but if he did then he would have had to pay FF a small premium at least, maybe 10%, so he is unlikely to sell the remainder under that price, but we are above that in any case. Nice deal for him tho if true. I'm not sure it matters exactly who does what, we know FF won't hold, will disperse, and the share price won't rise until the overhang is gone. I think it is probably gone now, or if not it can't be far off. | excellance |
