29/12/2020 20:13 | I'm not sure that altyn have ever set annual targets other than future potential estimates of production once a certain amount of development has been done. In that vain, we have limped along for over a decade with gold at low prices, utilising the open pit and surviving until the conditions were favourable. Now, 3 or 4 years behind original plan due to not being able to secure required finance on reasonable terms, we are now moving on fast in many areas and levels. We're doing it the long hard way, but it has meant no dilution of share capital or our 100% ownership of our assets. Surely the management should be and will be applauded when this plan eventually comes to fruition? | excellance
29/12/2020 19:26 | I think ALTN is a different kind of undervaluation compared to most other gold miners I own. The other have good operational performance and the market is just not giving them fair value so I sleep easy with those shares. ALTN is full of potential but has been mired with bad management so I do not feel the same level of confidence but it does add some beta to the portfolio. | brasso3
29/12/2020 19:24 | The fact is that most folk under 40 have no patience. They want to make their millions on the morning of day one and buy lambos in the afternoon! | excellance
29/12/2020 19:08 | Back to ALTN Topped up again today at 115p. | brasso3
29/12/2020 18:48 | Is posting about Bitcoin more offensive than ramping the company you have just invested in by claiming it will go to 3 pounds in September. We may be a bit bored on here so enlighten us on how you got to that figure . And why it will hit in that month. | stuie

29/12/2020 17:47 | hi thecoyne ...just posting some idle chat whilst we wait for something to happen here. Not sure how long you have been on this thread but we regularly chat about other things when stock is quiet. So just scroll down any posts you are not interested in ...it's not that hard and goes without saying I won't be told when, what and where I can post on a FREE bulletin board. | onedayrodders
29/12/2020 17:10 | Governments will want to ban BITCOIN as it is a threat to them and unaccountable to anyone. Just a matter of time and is it really secure. | michaelfenton
29/12/2020 17:06 | Government implies governance and rule of law. Decentralisation implies a lawless unregulated Dodge City. | excellance
29/12/2020 16:56 | Oh no the BITCOIN Police have arrived LOL ;o) | onedayrodders
29/12/2020 16:45 | Excellence That is the benefit that it is decentralised and free from governments! "Can you give me the name and address of the entity that guarantees the value of my bitcoin?" | brasso3
29/12/2020 16:43 | Hi Linz ... it all sounds rather super technical and full of Alladins wonders (probably on purpose) but the elephant in the room is it's thin air, they call it COIN to make it sound like you can hold it and it weighs something, and then try to link it to precious metals as "digital gold" but that's just layering. At least with FIAT if you run out of toilet paper, it has a use ... BITCOIN is just a digital illuminated number in cyber space backed by sweet FA and one day no one will care who mined it and how much electricity it used all to create an illusion of an asset. Berni Madoff would be well impressed so far. | onedayrodders
29/12/2020 16:05 | Fiat currency is certainly not a store of wealth, because it is not a tangible asset, nor yield bearing. It is however backed by "all the King's horses and all the King's men" so to speak. Crypto currencies are backed by the users, but who guarantees it? Can you give me the name and address of the entity that guarantees the value of my bitcoin? Gold is of course tangible, is rare, has to be actually mined, is tried and tested, and is beautiful. Altyngold actually mine gold, and look how difficult it's been! 2021 could be the transformational year, where all of the hard work and capital investment actually turn a profit in fiat terms. | excellance
29/12/2020 15:56 | Have added today, a real bargain IMO. £3 in September, can now buy for £1.20p ! | thecoyone
29/12/2020 15:00 | ODR. You're completely missing the point about cryptos, which is unfortunate as you clearly have faith in precious metals as a hedge against our moribund fiat currencies. Fiat currencies are essentially worthless, since the US Dollar was taken off the gold standard completely in 1971. They are merely bills of exchange, which carry a promise to pay back its value in debt, which is never going to happen. Bitcoin, on the other hand, derives its value due it having to be 'mined', which is a laborious and energy intensive process, ie. it takes a lot of effort and electricity to create one. So, far from being 'fresh air in a can', Bitcoin, and other crypto currencies, have inherent value, in contrast to the US Dollar, and other fiat currencies, which are just printed at will, ie. created out of thin air. Of course, fiat currencies are used every day by everybody on Earth, which is why this frank truth might seem far-fetched and ridiculous to those who don't understand (or have been encouraged to believe that they're still backed by gold) but their only worth is derived from being underpinned by the governments' willingness to accept it back from the populace as taxation. I genuinely hope this helps... | linz22
29/12/2020 14:47 | Book has turned positive this afternoon, there is at least 50% upside sitting here IMO. | goldenshread
29/12/2020 14:33 | "We are valued as if none of the recent development work is going to pay off and we are stuck at prior production levels....something has got to give. We are being set up for some sort of expansion plan, corporate action....." Bang on the money there, I totally agree and can't disagree. | excellance
29/12/2020 14:19 | ODR Someone just picked up £15,000 worth @ £1.17.....does not take too many of them before we are back at £1.50 in a heartbeat. We are valued as if none of the recent development work is going to pay off and we are stuck at prior production levels....something has got to give. We are being set up for some sort of expansion plan, corporate action......even if we got a bigger established producer bringing in capital and management to expand and taking 50% of the Co we would double right away in the confidence that they would get the job done.....IMHO | goldrush
29/12/2020 13:45 | I just avoid the topic. Blockchain is obviously a good accounting tool, and bitcoin shows us how it could be used as a currency. I'm happy to watch from the sidelines with great interest and best wishes. | excellance
29/12/2020 12:46 | off topic ... I'm pretty much friendless and ridiculed elsewhere when suggesting people should be wary of BITCOIN and related stocks. I you look at BITCOIN and crypto mining stocks like ARB and the ridiculous share price action for what is FreshAirInACan.coin ... I am reminded of the build up to the 1999/2000 Internet bubble. Of course you can make money trading it but highly speculative, but the people I;m talking to are convinced it's going to be mainstream currency which is utterly ridiculous. I'm of course envious of their share price gains (ARB) whilst I sit on my hands here but I cannot bring myself to buy into something I believe is a pure hyped up ponzi scheme. | onedayrodders
29/12/2020 12:39 | IT's the least I could do 😀😀.. It does look cheap down here and I am sure it won't be long before some value buyers appear on the scene.... | goldrush |
