I think the hydrogen economy is very exciting, but I'd rather go with the associated commodities than the technology companies themselves because there's no chance they'll make profits for several years as they gear up, and some will not make it.

For me palladium rhodium and platinum are ths key.

I like gold too because of structural sovereign debt problems, and brexit insurance too.

@excellance - be careful. If you say that name 3 times they appear within hours. That's what folklore says anyway.

It seems to be occurring all over the place currently, not just PM shares although I would agree that PM miners are gaining popularity. As stated BOIL had a similar spike and it is not PM related.

The flow of capital here would be much welcomed. That said, I do appreciate a BB such as this one with sensible posters - unfortunately, that would be over far too quickly if and when the herd arrives.

I have noticed that too. There are some crazy increases occurring on stocks that I would not touch with a barge pole. Did you see BOIL last week followed by a dirt cheap placing?

Having said that I would not mind some ramping here in the absence of an RNS!

JC2706 - my point is simply the flow of capital into the space being something we haven't seen the like of in a long while. Dubious Twitter folk they may be, but it appears no coincidence they are targeting gold companies.

cl2201,

I am not sure that I would quite read that into those rises yet. As I indicated, there are some dubious characters on Twitter pumping these shares. Admittedly the pumps seem to be falling on fertile ground at the moment! But I don't see that many of the companies mentioned can justify their market capitalisations and/or rises.

I know nothing of Tertiary - was simply mentioning the rise (300%+ in one day).

@excellance - funny you mention the party starting as with Tertiary yesterday, GWMO today and EUA/GGP in recent weeks there have been some incredible rises in the space. Irrespective of what those companies offer going forward it shows the appetite returning in a big way for small cap goldies.

We are in late stage bull in some sectors, notably industrials, but not for gold mining. Here the party is only just starting.

I don't think it was that interesting at all and certainly didn't merit the rise yesterday. The fall today is hardly surprising. I think that there are a bunch of dubious individuals rotating money through the market dogs (look on Twitter for the usual suspects). I note that the 'uber dog' GWMO has risen as well on nothing. Probably indicative of the market we are in (late stage bull).

The chart is still excellent here and indicates that a big move is coming one way or the other. I think probability favors a strong upward move as we already know that there was a step change in production from the start of H2 2019. They would not have got the loan through without satisfying the lender that profits were in the right direction.

The move above $1600 seems more robust than the previous attempt.

Well I'm surprised pog has held above$1600 so far. We've alot of ground to make up share price wise if we get any sort of positive news and a decent forward looking production plan. Definitely range bound on a very slight uptrend. The mind boggles if we have a hit anywhere near 40000tpm throughput with increasing grades. As a starter. GLA

Hence my post 581... I think the run rate in Q2 2020 will be the critical one for (hopefully) a major rerating... Not long to wait, 3 months maybe...GLA NAI
