So if we assume that Covid has knocked revenues down by 50%, it looks like we're in for a bonanza of 2.8m profit a quarter. Quite the turnaround. ;-)

Bravo for releasing the trading update. Pleasing to see the cash position improve. By my reckoning, we made about £100k net profit in Q3.

Also superb article in daily T today about the strength of the US recovery and how well the economy will do in 2021 /2 . For ALT , basically a US company , couldn't be better . I reckon 40p now the new minimum . IF get some half decent results , i reckon the share price will fly . And many will wish they filled up at 15p 20p 30p and now at 40p. This share price reached 140 once and that was WITHOUT the aim purchase .

Great volume today . Over half a million . Clearly the message about ST went down well with investors When we see the price push over 50p and more , we will see the doom and gloomers gone for good i hope .

I am with Keen . Who moan about being told some good news . Hell a month ago we were are 15p , we are now back at 40p. Some people are just never happy. Yes we all know an RNS wasn't needed but here is the Board giving us some interesting news about the largest independent shareholder now who has kept buying . How some people on this chat turn that into a negative is beyond me . It isnt a case of this update OR a trading update We will get both and the trading update in due course .

Mate, major shareholder RNSs are triggered when percentage thresholds are breached. That's not the case here. It just feels a bit desperate. I'd much rather we see a trading update - the last of which is now over 6 months old.

Maybe one day if you're up there with the biggest share holders. But for now see it as a positive, second biggest shareholder is continuing to buy, if that's not a sign of confidence I don't know what is.

Maybe if you stopped moaning at something positive and for once praised the company for telling a good news story , it would help. Or are you the sort that is never happy unless you have a good old moan Get real mate . Here is an investor who chooses to pour his own cash in . What on earth can u see in that which is not a positive .

Totally agree . On the one hand people on here moan that the company's PR is dire and there is no communication to shareholders . The the company issue an RNS that they dont need to issue , telling us how much the number 2 shareholder has used the opportunity of the pandemic to substantially increase his holding and we hear moans . Come on . Get real. This is the board sharing good news with us that we would have no other way of knowing .

As a long term investor Im pleased to see both the number 1 and number 2 share holders significantly adding of late. Number 2 continuing to buy (at what I assume is over his average price) a very good signal IMO, especially considering his holding 6.7m. By my calculations, he's added over 3.5m shares in the past few years. Maybe 350'000 plus, in the last couple of months.
