I for one am happy with these results
sure they are not what the old pre covid ALT would expect to post but all things considered I am happy .
Good effort in a terrible unprecedented market
Well done Nikki and the team .
The doom and bloomers like John etc etc are proven wrong again
You have to remember there are those who post on here , with one aim only
to see ALT fail and go under
Then there are those like us who want and know the business will succeed
Now we need to get MV back on the board and changes made
we can not waste more time here
The aim needs to be to get the share price back to 100p plus and this year subject to the elimination of Covid

Gross profit for the period of 2.5m; annualised overheads at 5.1m. If this was at 15p then it's a strong buy. Current share price feels like the update has already been backed in.

600k loss; I suggested 700k. Cash balances down to 1.3m - down from 1.9m at end October. Gross margin significantly less at c 50 percent. Will be interesting to see how the market reacts ...

I'm also increasingly of the view that the road out of Covid will be harder and longer than I first hoped. Sadly I think we are looking into the 2nd half of this year for any meaningful lifting of restrictions.

Stephen, any progress is not happening until the Edelman barricade is removed. The guy is a huge hindrance. He needs to be gone. We can only talk about moving forward then.

Maybe stephenMaybe But how about pebble or 4 imprint offering snap up ALTWe know the three biggest investors with the board and a few others wouldn't take an offer at anything like the current share price but I wonder what the response would be at 100p a share A price that 18 m ago would have been seen as way too low An offer like that now ?Would the main shareholder refuse ?

Reading the latest comments on here, the anguish is certainly very apparent, from where I stand there is not an awful lot the board can do, what with covid restrictions in place both here in UK & USA.

Personally, I am wary, very wary of Sleepy Joe, on that basis I would imagine, ALT must consider, removing ALT quote from UK stock market and making ALT a pure USA Company with a USA market quote.

The reason? Sleepy Joe or whoever steps in his shoes, quite soon, is very likely to be a protectionist. No matter what the `special relationship might mean to UK Parliament` The USA President has always sounded, America FIRST.

I am aware that a full USA quote has been ruled out several times, quite vociferously, but these are different times, calling for different strategy.

IMHO.

Here's my stab at interim numbers:- overheads 2.5m- revenue 2.0 (including US govt subsidy)- gross profit 1.8- operating loss of 700k

True but once Bidens policy are in full swing , the US Dollar should appreciate . All indications are such . Also a much bigger portion of our costs and US based now We are in essence an American business
